I was looking for a good phone deal for my mum and came across this deal. You do need access to the Samsung Education Store, which you can get with a .edu email address if you have one.

Was looking at either the S25 or S25+ and this was the best deal overall that I could find. Almost jumped on the Telstra deal for the base S25 256GB for $1,099, but for just $90 more the S25 Plus and the free Music Frame is a better deal. Interestingly I got an extra 5% off at checkout, no codes or vouchers, just came up on checkout, so you may get the same. Brought this down to $1,129 delivered!

The one I got for mum was delivered today, but I see it is now showing as Ships 12 Jan, so they must have run out of stock.

Thought it was worth sharing for anyone interested in an S25/S25+

Incidentally, for anyone wondering, the free Samsung Music Frame is this thing:

  Still too much man! Too much!

  Especially just before the s26 launch

  S25 was short of 600 when launched, expecting a similar case in 2026.

  Music frame has been down to 250 or something like that, so really doesn't scream a bargain here

    Yeah, as a bit of a tech head, I'd be tempted to wait and see what the new model will offer. But for people more interested in paying less than having the newer thing, this might be interesting.

    I mean my mum is upgrading from a 2017 model!

      Exactly covering your point about the cost.

      If you can get the S26 for 600, why would you pay almost double today? It's only 6 weeks away.

        If you mean trade-ins, I tried using my mum's 2017 Galaxy Note 8 as a trade-in and it's not accepted.

          @MusketeerX: Been buying since the last 5 years, Samsung hasn't disappointed. You really don't have to send the device in, just cop a $30 fine but get all the voucher benefits.

          @MusketeerX: But the problem for the S26 is, it's very likely using the Exynos again (at least in Australia), only the S26 Ultra will use the Snapdragon 8EliteGen5 for Galaxy, so if you need a Ultra model, wait for the launch, but for S26 or S26+, just go with the S25/25+, also the Edge model discontinued, I've purchased and recommended to my friends on the S25 and the Fold7 series, but never the S25Fe or Flip7/Flip7Fe because the Exynos is just not up to standards

            @dq0470: Personally I still won't pay double for the s25 even if 26 comes with Exynos. For someone who doesn't do gaming, it would hardly justify the extra 600 price tag
