  • Looking to get a first robovac, is this one good?
We have a tiled lounge and the two bedrooms are carpeted.

Alternatively was looking at the Q7B+ from JbHiFi at 349.

    • I am just going by Amazon reviews and the summary is
“Customers find the robot vacuum impressive and effective at cleaning, particularly at removing unseen dust and hair, and appreciate its good suction power. The functionality and ease of setup receive mixed feedback - while some say it does the job well and is easy to set up, others report it stops working completely and find the setup process complicated. The mapping accuracy, battery life, and carpet cleaning capabilities also show mixed results, with some customers reporting accurate mapping and good battery life, while others experience issues with map accuracy and charging problems.“

My assessment- it’s a good basic vacuum cleaner (especially with pets around). Bad Mop.

    • I got it for $279 at Aldi earlier this year. We have been very happy with it. Our place is split level, so I'm considering a second one for the lower area. Software and reliability has been great for us so far.

      • Thank you!
I guess the big difference is the dock that you can get with the Roborock one.
Will probably get it from jb hifi today

    • Or you can get Lubleulu SL60 for ~$160 plus 50% shopback. I have been using it for an year, works great though I only use it for vaccum and not mopping

      • Where do I find that? Temu?

        • Yes, Temu. Sorry, forgot to mention it.
You can go for just the vaccum or self emptying dock + vaccum combo.

  • Does this come with a dock?

    • No dont think so.

    • charging station yes.. where the bot returns back to its charging station after the task is completed.
a dock .. for auto cleaning and for refilling water… NO

P.S. I found teh bot to be very effective… if you do not mind the manually emptying the bin.. then u don't really need a full blown docking station.. but if that is important to you thebn go for plus model.
