For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

AliExpress trade in USD and it doesn't fluctuate, unlike AUD! Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate.

      High global ram and SSD demand and the price increase basically killed all budget mini PC deals unfortunately.

      I really regret not taking serious note of the SSD price increase warnings from a year ago. There was even a rep from one of the SSD brands here on Ozbargain warning us but I dismissed it.

      Not junk. Been using coins, coupons and credits for last 6 months or so and only pay GST. Now have a collection of watches with display boxes, lithium batteries in most sizes with chargers, power banks, watch bands, ssds, usb3/4 cables and chargers, monitor lights, google and apple trackers, etc.

      All have been reliable and some even better than amazon.

      Now starting a new collection of china automatic watches.

            @easternculture: No, they don't. Swiss watches are made in Switzerland and most Japanese watches are made in Japan.

            Seagull has history in China and probably some up and coming small batch watch makers would be good. But without the time and history of watchmaking to build consistent at scale… definitely not "all the same".

            And I'd never buy a watch from Aliexpress (or a cheap fast fashion watch for that matter).

              *All made in china watches (imported to australia) are usually made in shared factories

              Plus the back of the watch is stainless steel so the top elements is not touching your skin
