  • Had one in the Amazon watchlist for a while. Seems to have great reviews… Time to bite the bullett at this price.

    • Had one. Its great but you will need ro aet up a 2.4ghz network for it.

It also will run fine for a couple months and then get super buggy and require a reset.

The app is a bit blah… Setting up rooms and partitions is a pain.

The robot itself is great, let down by the software.

      • Totally agree with this review, I bought 4 of those robots (SL60D) and have them at a couple of family members/investment properties.
Very frustrating when it gets buggy - hard to reset remotely as need to be physically located at the property to be on the same wifi signal, for pairing purposes.
        When it works - great.
When it does not - simply frustrating!
At this price point though - unbeatable. Make sure you grab a self-collection charging station - you won't regret buying it (holds 6 months' worth of dust for me)

        • do you mean a factory reset?

    • With bin $180 with free item

      https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0DNZBCH73

      • It's a different model though? How do they compare?

        • SL60 Pro, basically same model with bin and auto docking.

          • @superforever: Isnt this a better deal, with the self empty station?

            • @Big Deal:

Isnt this a better deal, with the self empty station?

Actually yes, if you want bin.

              • @superforever: Got it, thanks. It nowhere mentions where the water tank for mop is. I hope there is one :-)

  • Good price, bought one a year ago at much higher price, . Good quality well built. Dropped it once , my fault, still going strong. Recommended

  • I use it only once a week or so. And I don't know why but it seems to lose/forget my map every few weeks and I have to remap the whole house again and again :(

    • Yeah. Great robot, the app and software prevent it being great.

      • I wonder how long before someone gets Valetudo on this thing…

    • I have no problem did you save a copy?

    • Start small when mapping, I do one room at a time. After each successful room is added, save the map.

That way, when the map eventually gets distorted for whatever reason, you can simply restore from a saved map.

Oh and don’t allow the dock to move around, that causes chaos.

    • I had the same issue where it would forget the map. I think they have fixed it in the newer firmware because the map issue hasn't been seen since around July/August.

      • Which firmware are you on? Mine says 2.6.46, though a week or two ago got a firmware update notification which I declined.
Auto upgrade is turned off but it's saying no updates available. Not sure if it ignored the setting and did the upgrade anyway or they've pulled it.

        • I got 2.6.80 SL60 Pro

          • @superforever: I have the SL60D with a separate empty station, but I always assumed the actual bots were the same just Pro because it was bundled with the station.

Does it report itself as SL60 Pro in the app?

            • @bamzero:

Does it report itself as SL60 Pro in the app?

In SmartLife app, it said SL60D Pro, also have SL68 PLUS, same firmware.

          • @superforever: Got a update notification for 2.6.96 today. Wish they provided changelogs though.

    • You can restore saved maps, but the feature is a bit difficult to find in the app.

      • and for anyone wondering, tap the … Setting overlay button, then Room Map Manage then Use the map to restore an old one. Can also save copies of your map here.

    • My map slowly shifts on an angle every day. I just restore on a saved map once a month. I don't need to but if you have places you don't want to mop/vacuum, you'll need to.

      • Same.

  • I've had mine for a couple of years. I don't bother with mapping, just let it do the whole place and close relevant doors when I want to use the mop function. Hasn't skipped a beat.

    • The only question is whether I buy another one and make them fight.

      • One for the front of the house, one for the back!

    • Same here - no app, no internet connection, just press the button and it goes.

Well worth it at this price

      • Vorwerk forced this on me with my Botvac Connected after they took over Neato, drove it into the ground and shut down the servers 3 years earlier than they said they would.

Not so Connected anymore. Mine didn't have persistent maps/virtual walls etc anyway but the newer models did and that was Vorwerks solution to losing most of the features was it's fine you can just push the button.

  • Great stuff other than name… Lo lu lu lu buuuuulu

    • It's made in Uzbecki-becki-becki-becki-stan-stan

      • Haha good one 🤪

  • Can't be beat for this price. I don't use mine for mopping but vacuuming and lidar mapping is great.

Highly recommend getting the auto emptying station. Makes this thing hands free for months.

    • I just use the handheld stick cleaner to empty it out, then don’t clean that for months

      • What stick cleaner?

        • Assume a Dyson or equivalent

  • Cheap but they are super buggy and don't last long. I've had 3 and now all dead due to software issues. Customer service is horrible. They don't reply to my warranty requests.

    • They asked me for a video and never replied back

    • My experience have been good with customer service. Sent the video. They asked if i wanted a refund or replacement.
Software pulling error saying location unreachable when selecting a room to clean. This room door was closed most days so the daily cleaning made the door to be like a wall in the map.

    • Just ask Amazon agent

They don't reply to my warranty requests.

      • never had a problem returning thru amazon- had to do it about 3 times

    • Same here, I had a Handheld vacuum from them, it broke at first use, their AI customer service was terrible.

    • Amazon would let you return them

Is this a better deal seems like it has 4500 suction power a newer model 68 instead of 60

    • Yep SL68 is slightly better suction power. But only one rotating brush (instead of 2) - some people find it a deal breaker!
If suction power matters to you, then lubluelu has some other models with 5500Pa or 6500Pa. Worth checking out.

      ETA - 6000Pa model here: https://www.temu.com/au/--plus-robot-vacuum-self-emptying-ha…

      • I bought an SL68 last time that's still sealed in the box for around the same price, but I picked up what I believe is an incompatible auto empty dock. Anyone around SW Syd want to do me the favour of buying this and swapping with me? I paid a bit more the 68 but would be happy to do a straight swap so I can use my auto empty station

  • I would recommend considering purchasing on Temu (particularly when 50% cashback - as today). You can grab this device for really really cheap.
I have not had tracking issues on the previous Shopback/Temu order.
However, I had a wrong model sent for the dust collection station (D3, which is incompatible) and still going round in circles with Temu customer support..

Empty station only $92 on Temu - https://www.temu.com/au/--plus-robot-vacuum-self-emptying-ha…

    • Yeah with the 50% cashback you can get this WITH an emptying station at a similar price. here
I grabbed the L15 Max not for any particular reason, though. Still waiting for delivery.

      • Do you have a link for the bags that go inside?

      • I heard L series are cheaper model not that good.

      • Need to trim your link otherwise Temu loves to force you to log in just for a look.

  • I bought this six months ago.

It only works on WPA2, 2.4Ghz.

I have an Eero 6+, and even when making it use WPA2 only with 2.4Ghz, it wouldn't connect.

    • it use WPA2 only with 2.4Ghz, it wouldn't connect.

Can you set fix channel with Eero?

    • Is there a reason why Robot vacuum's don't use 5Ghz? I almost purchased a robot vacuum from amazon but I ended up cancelling it because now I want a sofa but besides that it also said it uses 2.4Ghz and not 5Ghz. Even the more expensive robot vacuums depend on 2.4Ghz.

      • Its a hardwear thingy for 2.4 only.

      • Most IoT devices don't bother with 5ghz because:

        1. It's probably cheaper to only have a 2.4ghz module
        2. Not much data is transmitted so the extra bandwidth of 5ghz isn't required
        3. 2.4ghz has a longer wave than 5ghz so it theoretically has a longer range and can pass through barriers better than 5ghz which matters more than bandwidth
        4. Since you would prefer to use 5ghz for high bandwidth requirements like watching TV, it's better for you to have these devices not cluttering that wifi network

That's my understanding anyway. Probably heavily weighted to point 1. I haven't heard of any routers planning to decommission 2.4ghz so presumably any issue is just a security protocol or compatibility issue

  • Well it's encouraging the price is coming down so low, but from the sounds of it it's worth waiting another year for reliability to improve https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1mc9iuu/warni…

    • Yeah, not sure I need the potential warranty issues these seem to have.
If I get a robot Vac I want to set and forget.

      • Its set and forget for a while, then its a bad robot. Hard reset.

  • These days you can get an auto cleaning mop pad for under $300.

  • I'm waiting for the Lubluelu Robo Labubu Dubai Chocolate collab

  • It's working fine except it kept humping my stools and floor lamps. I have to rescue it time to time.

I never connected it to wifi or use mop function though. Just let it run and map itself.

    • Once I got my map I added a small restricted area where my stools are. Easier to just get the stick vac and do that little bit manually than leave it fighting to overcome the stool legs.

  • Mine had a disconnect once and forget the map a couple times but has been mostly solid. Great unit. I have the bin.

  • How's the mopping on it? The price seems too good to be true.

    • How's the mopping on it?

      Very basic.

    • It just drags a wet pad around. We tried it once and don't bother anymore.

    • The mop will do a very general clean, it won't find tough spots and go over them until a spot is clean

I sometimes send it out twice to get the job done.

    • It will eventually mop a place clean. It will take a year as it drags a micro fibre cloth across the floor.

  • I remember snagging this for $220 back in the day and thinking it was an unreal deal. They're pretty good units, especially at this price.

  • Aside from losing wifi connection a couple of times a year (easily fixed by power cycling), mine has not skipped a beat over the past 2 years (purchased BF 2023). Battery still holding well (roughly 60-70% remaining after a 30 minute run)

  • I hated mine and sold it on FB marketplace. Could never find the dock and run out of charge all the time.

    • Mine had trouble locating the dock if the dock was placed in a large open space.. moving it towards a corner where it could see multiple walls worked much better.

  • Using one for the past one year. Never missed a beat even using the app. Ordered one for my parents.

  • Anyone has a link for the bags that goes in the dock? Mine is almost full of cat fur (like a 2nd cat is trapped in there) so I can just empty the bag, but I like to have options… Please

    • I tried to find one AliExpress and couldn’t spot them

      • Also need to be mindful as there are 2.0 and 2.5L versions and the 2L doesn't fit the 2.5 (though think with a bit of modification it can be persuaded)

  • I have one of these with the auto-empty station. Fantastic little machine for the price. Might get another for downstairs.

  • how are these with being able to climb when you have floora at slightly different heights? like you know the 2 cm things you accidentally kick sometimes

    • like you know the 2 cm things

2cm may be a bit too high for it, mine can climb like 1.5cm.

  • Is it fine to leave charging when not in use?

    • Is it fine to leave charging when not in use?

      Yes

  • White is now a buck cheaper @ $118.99

    • yep still the case today
