      I think it has 99% of the songs that Spotify does, never had an issue in that sense. I do think its "discovery weekly" algorithm is less refined than Spotify's. That is the main value i get out of Spotify. Currently i'm on this 3 month trial, but once it ends I think it will have ads? I am on Prime and they run ads on primevideo, so I can only assume the music service will too. The mobile app is good, but the desktop app has to think for 5-10s before playing a song, wheras spotify is instant, so there's that.

        Absolutely this Prime music just does not find stuff or radio channels in the style nearly as well as Spotify

      It's crap. I've found dozens of examples where artists are bundled in with another artist with the same name (probably some AI duplicate removal system).

      It's terrible at suggesting stuff, it just sticks really close to what you've already heard.

      There's no genre searching available.

      I could go on all day, but it's worthless. No wonder they're giving it away for free.

        Spotify isn't immune to that. I've seen a few examples of different artists with the same name combined into one profile.

        Also, since they fired the engineer who more or less made Spotify what it was, their genre data is more or less garbage now. It may still be better at suggesting music to you than Amazon, but it's nowhere near what it used to be.
        And then you have the AI stuff as well, which many people aren't happy with.

      Because people are more likely to listen to music, whilst doing something else, so the usage is higher.
      Thus it shows the demand is there, ergo higher charges.

    Also, and this is a long running deal, if you have an Amazon device and you are only going to listen to Prime music on that device, you can subscribe to the full version of Amazon music for $7 a month.
    It allows two device transfers per year, but unfortunately Amazon Echo Auto is excluded from the devices, which is a bummer.
    The plan is Unlimited for Echo / FireTV (Echo, Dot, Tap) and can be found on the Amazon Music page

    I have got a free Spotify too, even though I can use Revanced.

    Spotify lossless music is only 44.1 kHz CD quality, while Amazon music has a lot more at much higher quality.
