  • That code is targeted.

    • Also has a limited number of uses, as I found out. 🙃

      • this is out of stock you know that right?

        • I used the code about 5 times and didn’t work anymore as of 2 days ago for me.

  • It's a dupe

@hamza23 mentioned the blkfri code being a targeted code in the post.
The game is absolutely worth that money though.. I felt like it was worth the RRP. We still play it with my kids

    • It was 25% off in that post. Now it's 30% off. Yes, the price is only available for eBay Plus members.

      • No not eBay plus members, it's targeted to users.
I'm eBay plus and don't have that code

        • I used the code on eb a few times individually because it didnt give you as good discount on more than one game.

Locked me out of using it after 2 orders.

  • BLKFRI still does not work for me.

  • $51 with BLK25 (eBay Plus), BLKFRI didn’t work

  • Code worked for me. Thanks OP.

  • Yep worked for me, cheers! Hopefully I enjoy it as much as everyone else seems to.

  • It’s a +1 year old game so hoping it will be $30 or free on PSN soon. 😌

    • Took ages to drop to this price. It sat at $89 on Amazon for months

      • That’s cos they were betting on people buying it for $89 cos it won game of the year…😅

        • It did sell really well, 14th best selling game for the PS5.

    • It's the best platformer on PS5 and the best new platformer of this generation so far, I think it's better than Ratchet and Clank anyway.

  • Bought this the other day plus the stacked $5 + $3 bonus cashback from Shopback, saved a bit over $30 and felt pretty chuffed!

  • This game hasn't sold out yet I cannot add it to cart.

    • I just got it by clicking “buy it now” instead of going to the cart and checkout. $47.60

  • this is actually a really fun game

  • Got this for $51 on 25/11 from here as well. Somehow an even better deal now. Good luck lads.

  • Thanks heaps.

Worked for me. Think there's only one left now.

  • I'm playing this for the first time on my new PS5. I'm up to the fifth galaxy but have gone back to other planets to try and complete them first because I don't want the game to end. It's fantastic.

    • As someone that couldn't get into Play Room as it felt too much like a tech demo (because it was), should I still give this a go?

      • Yes - It's great fun. Much better than play room.

      • It's basically a fully fleshed out version, where all the tech demo gimmicks have been turned into level-specific mechanics to defeat enemies and complete puzzles.

There are some other gameplay gimmicks as well which will surprise and bring a smile to your face. I'm finding the last stretch of the game to feel a little repetitive but still finding little pieces which bring a new smile.

Also, I actually loved Playroom as well, but part of that was the museum nature of it. So I feel they're both very different and equally as worth playing.

        • Does it rely heavily on the Dualsense "features"? As I typically have the adaptive triggers and speaker disabled as I find them immersion breaking. Still tempted though.

          • @witheredcouch: A couple of puzzles require adaptive triggers. Perhaps the speaker is helpful if a bot is squeaking nearby, but you can just as easily pay 200 coins to get a helper on a second playthrough if you miss someone.

I wouldn't say it relies on them heavily, just here and there. Having said that, I love both of those features of the dual sense and havent/wont turn them off myself (could just be the novelty as it's my first time using it, but I reckon it will be hard to go back to soft triggers now).

I actually feel like, had I played this before Donkey Kong Bananza then I may not have been so impressed by DKB. I see a lot of similarities.

I've also just finished the game today but still have a little extra to poke around with post-game, which is nice.

PS: The credits are great as well.

  • My order was cancelled this morning, apparently they are not supposed to have click and collect as an option. Looks like the game is sold out online now

    • Same with me. What a disappointment!

      • Actually it's back in stock for delivery

  • ATL would have been the EB pre-order trade deal. Buy 2 for $30 at JB and trade in for Astro Bot at $0.

Seems like EB have caught on though… haven't see a $0 pre-order offer for ages now
