Wearing mine now from this sale. Returned my Epix non pro through Amazon due to the back button failing and got this.

    Improvements:
    -Flashlight
-Stock band is more comfy and secure (I use a third party one anyway)
-Noticeably more accurate HR during weight training with the new sensor
-Buttons feel more robust and tactile.

      Did the same :)

      • Also did the same for the exact same button. Must have been a semi common issue with them by the sound of it.

  • Titanium in 47mm, still with sapphire, is cheaper at $842

    • White? Shipper / Seller KOGAN - you must be joking

      • Could be a grey import product

  • Great watch, got mine few months ago and loving it. I use it for golf as well :)

Flashlight is by far the most amazing feature that I didn't know I always needed. Great for middle of the night toilet breaks!

  • Best size imho

I respectfully disagree and the first line of the product description is why.

The 51mm is $996 so only reasons I wouldn’t get the 51mm is if the additional cost is pushing you well past your budget, you have smaller wrists or you just don’t like the size of the 51mm, although you do get used to this. Also can be annoying wearing with long sleeve business shirts but so can the 47mm depending on the fit of shirt.

There used to be a whole movement of garmin fanboys who like to say bigger is better. When the average mens regular watch size is 38-42mm, I'm not sure how anybody can reasonably believe 51mm isn't always oversized, unless you're a pro arm wrestler maybe… Each to their own I suppose…

  • Any good deals on the 42mm anywhere? Ideally in Soft Gold

Enduro 3 vs Epix pro gen2 sapphire vs fenix 7x pro sapphire solar. Which one would you get?

    • +1

I got the Enduro 3 (got quite a nice price for it with employee garmin discounts and salary packaging) - lighter with the plastic back, nylon strap out of the box so you don't need to go 3rd party, the battery life is insane and it's on the same software branch as Forerunner/Fenix 8 so updates are frequent.

Note Enduro 3 is only available in the larger size!

      • That's probably the most annoying thing about the Enduro 3….the size. my size is 16cm. I don't want it to look huge on my wrist. What's the size of your wrist?
I've heard the Enduro 4 will come in a smaller size.

  • Garmin AU store says the the deal is on until December 24th. https://www.garmin.com/en-AU/p/894067/

My 745 just died so tossing up if I gamble on a better boxing day sale for the Epix or just bite the bullet…
