Was looking out for additional data simcards and found that they have a $15/month discount for existing customers! Seems like a decent deal, and you can also bunny hop off your existing data on your current plans with the data share feature. Pretty useful for cheap extra phones etc!

Available to customers with a connected eligible Mobile, Home internet or Data plan service (Primary Service) who sign up to any eligible new mobile, Home internet or Data plan service (Additional Service). Also available to customers who purchase a Primary Service and Additional Services in the same transaction. The $15 discount for 12 months applies to the standard monthly access fees on each Additional Service and reverts to standard in-market price on Additional Services after 12 months. The discount does not apply to any add-ons or linked device payments and is forfeited if you cancel, recontract or change your Additional Service to an ineligible plan.           Nah, this is a worst plan. Previous one didn't require to be an additional service. Could have the deal as a standalone

    Would think about this if I was an Optus customer to back up my low data annual sim. Any non/low cost way of getting another service, so I can get this and add it to my account?

    I tried to add this to my Existing Non-Prepaid Service and it said my service is not eligible and I need to add a new service. Cannot understand why.

      Can't activate eSIM in a phone. Physical SIM auto-activates upon SIM delivery though. Comment from one OzBargainer saying it works in a Pixel. No comments from iPhone users yet.

    Great deal if you enjoy paying a company, you are already paying, to lose your data.
    Don't worry they'll gift you a GB or two for free if anyone finds out when it happens again

      Maybe? But note that this is a data only SIM.

      This deal was better as it also included unlimited talk and text. It's no longer available, though.

      If you don't have an existing Optus SIM, Vodafone's 200GB/$169 plan might be better value (I think you can get a 15% cashback too).

    I am currently just on prepaid optus at 35 a month or whatever it is. Non contract

    Anyone got any hot tips for switching or otherwise?
