For those seeing $825.54, discount is applied during the checkout process which takes the price down to $742.99

I saw this get down to ~$620 on the Lenovo outlet for a certified refurb. It was gone before I got round to posting, white z2 go (16/512) pops up briefly for 24hrs sometimes for $598

      Yeah they go fast

The $620 model is the 32gb/1tb model too (source: got one a few weeks back)

Lenovo outlet has two or three units of the z2 go 32gb/1tb/steamos refurbs for $617 every two weeks or so (seen it at least 4 times in the past 1.5 months)

  • I'm hoping the Z1E goes to this price

      I’m hoping z2e

    • I m hoping all windows handheld all go sub $500, at least similar to steam deck for $519 when on sale last week

      • That is like saying i wish all iPhone's go to sub $500 because a Nokia was on sale for $519.

These other handhelds are vastly superior to the Steam Deck.

  • Thanks OP. Impulse buy.

  • Haven't got anything like these, umming and ahhing about this or Odin 3.

      • What are your thoughts on this?

Bigger screen is always better. I find 6 inches of the Odin 3 a tad too small. If they announced a Odin 3 Portal with a 7 inch or bigger screen, I would get that, but the 8 inches on this looks glorious.

      • I see, but that makes my 16" gaming laptop a better choice right? I'm not having a go with that, but portability to me is important, and if I need to bring a bag to carry the device and rest my arms on something while using it, well, my gaming laptop already exists.

The above Lenovo Legion Go S Z2 Go looks like it might be small and light enough to enjoy on the go, with a great screen, while be large enough to comfortably hold. On the other hand the Odin 3, is small, light, and can have up to 12 hours of battery life when playing the lowest demanding games. I liked my Vita a lot for portability mixed with power and I like my small RG 40XX-V, but the idea of playing lower demanding Steam games with emulation seems appealing for both devices, so I'm not sure.

My thing is I already have an RP5 and use to have a Miyoo Mini +. The RP5 is portable and light, but the screen is too small for long play sessions, not powerful enough for Gamehub, and ultimately, not small enough to be pocketable. The Miyoo Mini + is great for that, but again, tiny screen and its power limits me to mame, Pico-8 and SNES games (well for me, it can play other systems). So if I go on trips I take the Miyoo Mini because it is very simple to play and a good time with a few moments to spare, or for an hour to kill. Whenever I have travelled and bothered to take the RP5 I haven't used it.

So I think the Odin 3 and the above would be similar for me. Pretty powerful but outside of Gamehub, i'm not using it for much more than my RP5, probably not travelling with it. But a Z1E Legion Go I would probably use because you can play a lot of PC games and whatever you need on emulation, and the screen is big enough for it to be ok to use for a few hours. It would also see use around the house a lot more as something to be a bit more communal, and not just be squirrelled away in a room playing on a gaming laptop.

          • @serpserpserp: Yeah, I've been playing my gaming laptop in the living room recently to be around my family, really uncomfortable though. An hour on the Lenovo Legion Go S Z2 or Odin 3 seems like it could be fun.

  • Held one of these at JB Hi-fi and was impressed by the build quality.

Guys this or the Steam Deck Oled??

    • Same q

    • This.

You can install steam OS on anything.

You cant change slow processor on the steamdeck

    • I got a steam deck and I’m loving it! The screen is super nice and I have a desktop PC for playing more demanding games anyway.

  • Thanks OP, I rolled the dice and ordered one. Was considering a Steam Deck for weeks now, but the specs were nagging at me. This seemed a steal at $743 delivered, vs $799 for the 512Gb Windows version from the Lenovo website (not sure if that was delivered or not).
