    Every time I buy a high value item on Temu using cashback Temu automatically refunds my purchase as “suspicious”

    If you google it apparently it happens when using high cashback or large discount codes

      Agreed with you as my recent iphone purchase got cancelled, though I should say that I didn't answer Temu support phone calls as I was worried it was a scam. I now wish that I answered that multiple phone calls. Will retry them again though later today as desperately need to buy it.

          Yep make sure you access via TCB during the same promotion period you're matching (eg 12-6pm today), wait for tracking to show up then submit the Cashback Guarantee request via TCB.

          Screenshot the Shopback offer on their website if you remember to (I just linked the OzB post which seems to be fine too).

      They whack some weird tax on it, so you’ll get $850 tracked for $425 tracked. So 50% is really 42.5% or something close to that after this.

        Yeah what is up with that? I thought about asking support from SB to fix the tracking as GST isn't that high and then asking Temu. I figure though with how tricky it is to get Temu to payout cashback don't try and get what they actually advertise and live with it, any excuse to deny cashback like "order change" if there fixed the GST lol

        As per all the AliX posts on this, the weird tax is from our very own ATO.

        They want international marketplaces to pay GST on the full retail value, not the reduced price.

        So if you use any coupons or there is a sale on, the GST will be more than 10% of the sale price.

        Thats why Ali bundle items (often more than half price) end up with 20% GST.

        Classic ATO..

        Now to get Jerry to pay back all the extra tax on his "Sales" over the last 10 years.

      Good question. I have a 30% that was added by Temu. I then got a message about using a coupon would invalidate cashback but no idea if it was for the same deal. Went back, messed around for a bit, 30% still there and no warning when going to check out.

      So, who knows although a person calling themself choofa says below that all will be fine.

    Not that im against using shopback, all my other purchases at SB have been fine expect this one time at TEMU, so I guess I will just use Topcashback for TEMU cashbacks.

      mine tracked just fine. got $44 back on the Aula k75 max., couldnt be happier. that thing retails for $130+ on amazon.

      bought it on temu for $90+.

    I think being that Temu has the refund for shipping and % change thing - that shopback sees that as a voucher/discount —- aka stops cashback. - I missed out on $145 once as the Mrs did the shipping refund thing….$4 back to loose $145….grrrrrr

    When I am directed to Temu via Shopback I see a pop-up which says 'sorry only new users can get this coupon'.
    I do see 'coupon activated' in Temu, but not sure if I should risk it.

        Thanks guys. I clicked on no other coupons so I took screen shots and went for it. On checkout, I was asked to pay for two items totaling $60 that were shipped from the local warehouse. After I paid, I had to spend another $23 to get free shipping for what was left in the cart, so I did not go ahead with that part. We’ll see how it goes. Dealing with Temu is a headache.

          I’ve had over a dozen orders track from temu with ShopBack and topcashback and all have paid out so far. Every single order has used coupons and discounts. Never had a tracking fail or payment denied.
