    So it's only 3.33%+2% for $150
    Very average offer. Will pass.

Not worth the hassle. Coles and Woolies deals have been rubbish. $15 of with $250 spend??? pfft.

    • Deal adjacent.

Out of curiosity, where do you get gift cards for Coles at a discount of ~5% on the regular? Personally I haven't found discounts above 4% to be all that common.

      • I've stocked up at a much better % during BF and I am sure there will be better offer on Boxing Day.

        • So, you mean like the ShopBack "buy $50 get $5 bonus cashback" style promos (10%+), or Prezzee "buy $150, get bonus $10 gift cards" (6.25%)? Were there any others?

    Meh

5% is good for coles supermarket

  • Can Coles Group & Myer Gift Cards be used in Coles supermarkets in-store?

    • Yes

Only marginally better than buying from Macquarie Marketplace when you include the bonus.
    Otherwise not worth doing.

  • Bought 200 as 150 sold out. Cbf to separate into 100 and 50
    $9 = 4.5% discount

    • 2x $75 gift cards or 3x $50 gift cards are also options to reach the $150 spend required.

More hassle at the payment counter making 1 more split payment while dealing with kids is not worth it…

        • Totally understandable viewpoint.

      • 6x $25

Thanks for the heads-up @trixieb. Probably would have missed this otherwise. This is a decent deal IMO as it's not that common to get > 4% discount on Coles. It's even less common to find discounted gift cards for Officeworks too.

PSA - $150 denomination has sold out, but you can make up the $150 using smaller denominations (in separate transactions if needed) and still get the bonus $5

    • Thanks. Split it to $100 + 2 x $25. Waiting for it to be tracked.

  • What app do y'all use to store gift cards that don't go to your prezzee wallet?

    • +6

As I painfully learnt you don't need to attach these to your Prezzee Wallet, in the ShopBack app Voucher keep on clicking the X (close) icon when it tries switching to Prezzee and eventually it will show you the Coles gift card. It's bloody annoying as it's designed to push you to Prezzee.

      • Well shit. Thanks LOL!

      • Oh that's why they do it…

      • This should go in a wiki or something!

      • Interesting trick but isn't it annoying getting the barcode to scan like that? Since shopback doesn't crank up the brightness like the prezzee app does.

    • Supercards

    • I use Pass2u Wallet. It also has templates for common non-wallet gift cards which you fill in with your own details to get it to display nicely in your phone's wallet.

Coles Cards. Not made by coles but a guy on ozb to store them all

I was almost tempted despite it being under my usual 10% threshold, but then I realised you can't use it online @ Coles because they are stuck in the dial-up era.

Out of stock before the challenge ended. Typical Shopback.

Wasn't expecting it to be out of stock from the 'meh' comments above and below 100 upvotes.

      • Tried to buy one a few hours ago as I ran out of Coles gift Cards…
