1440p and I think 3rd Gen panel for those playing at home (happy to be corrected). Damn good price though. I settled for the 4K HP Omen in a previous deal but this was one on the list of options I was weighing up and seemed to have some decent reviews

Good, but people may want to wait and see if the gigabyte tandem oled model goes on sale again.

    • Got one recently and it has been a great monitor. Even the text clarity is quite decent for 1440p OLED

      • You mean the Asus or the gigabyte?

While the price of RAM goes up, what a world we live in.

Would be interested in hearing any real world feedback on one of these monitors. I've been eyeing it off for a while and wanting to see how it actually performs and if anyone's experienced issues with burn in on it and/or what sort of mitigations they put in place to prevent it.

  • RTINGS Rating - A bit average, but alright for the price.

  • I'm guessing this wouldnt be good to use for actual work i.e. spreadsheets, prepping documents?

For work, IMO almost always IPS.

  • This has become the most popular monitor on TechTok now, LFG! Love that OLED monitors are finally becoming affordable

Tech advice from Tiktok? If it's anything like audio advice, run for the hills.

Advice? No I'm just there to see setup aesthetics

  • Anyone else think this was the PG27UCDM for a split second or just me

    • Yea, thought it was the PG for a bit. I bit the bullet and just bought it yesterday though, it's been 1450 for some time and didn't get any lower for black friday. :(

This monitor has firmware issues with image retention i wouldn't recommend buying…

  • Most likely going on sale as the tandem oled version with a 4th gen panel is set for release any day now - the xg27aqwmg. Who knows what that price is released at. The same 4th gen panel as on the new gigabyte mo27q28g ($899), however the gigabyte model has the 'less desired' matte coating where the xg27aqwmg will have the glossy coating.

Can't make up my mind to just replace the 27" IPS with another 27" OLED or dive into the Ultra wide with an alienware 34" Ultra wide OLED 🤔

Depends if you really want to play games in UW.
I ended up playing CP2077 at a 16*9 resolution on my ultra widebecause there were some odd artifacts in that game on an ultra wide (light blooming around the bottom of the screen and other things).

Personally, if it's just for games I would go 16*9.
I like my UW for work cos I can fit 2 or 3 docs on screen at once (but it's not OLED)

      This is OLED.

  • Not sure why this is getting so many upvotes… worst OLED deal of the sales period.

I guess enough people are sitting on gift cards.

  • BRIGGS (>")> you still doing Nintendo 3DS Street Pass, brother? :-D

  • back to $1299 now :(
