  • Can this be used to replace a car battery???

    • +4

      No.

      • unless it's a prius for eg in which case the 12v batter's in the trunk and if dimensions are compatible it's an absolutely fine replacement

unlikely dimensions're going to work though for a 120ah but better off saving some money and grabbing a smaller (cheaper) lifepo4 anyway which's still overkill for powering up your 12v systems and will last forever (comparative to lead acid)

  • Diff between this and king's?

    • +3

This might help. I have always used Kings for batteries and never had an issue. My 300Ah lithium is going strong.

  • Can this be used to replace my home alarm battery…

    • +1

short answer is it can yeah in so far as it's 12v

charging's a bit diff. these batters have a bms that allows for lead acid chargers to be used without damage but i'd guess that the kind of capacity agms you're probly using might have a pretty minimal charge unit which might mean you'd have to get some kind of upgrade

  • Dammit I thought it was related to ᑐ ᑌ ᑎ ᑕ

Can i use it with a boat trolling motor? Or I'll need a water proof case…

    • +2

Should be fine for that. I would avoid submerging it tho lol

  • Can it jumpstart Shai-Hulud?

  • what sets this apart from the $200 ebay ones?

    • +2

Warranty and proper certification. These are built to minimum standards that the eBay ones are not. I would not risk having no name brand lithium battery in the back of a potentially hot car.

      • sometimes voltx is a similar lower price

  • Does anyone know if these are Pouch or Prismatic Cells? I tried searching and their customer support line and chat, no luck.
