Woks with coatings should be banned. You'll never get it hot enough.

In saying that - Free WOK!!!!

    • +7

Nothing's free. The mark up on these appliances already included the price of the wok.

I know these guys are a good brand, but I don't think I would ever spend more than $100 on a rice cooker

    What shite deal:

    CRP-LHTR0609F - 829.99 from 960

    CRP-CHSS1009F - 599.99 from 700

    CRP-ST0609F - 559.99 from 660

Should come free with a whole kitchen for this crime when it's not even a 40 wok

    • You may borrow these if you like $ $ $ $ $ $ $

    • No deal.

Got to be cuckoo to buy at these prices.
Costco or go and hand carry it from duty free on next trip back from Japan.

    • How much are they in Japan?

but arent the voltage different to Australia?

    • I believe Cuckoo is Korean, but your point still stands.

      • You're right, I was thinking Tiger.

        • Tiger is available in overseas voltages in Japan.

  • Bought this earlier this year https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/933648 one of the best rice cooker bang for buck

    Panasonic 8 Cup Rice & Multi Cooker SR-DA152 - $98 Delivered @ Amazon AU (Sold Out) / $93 @ The Good Guys via C&C

  • If you smellll, what the wok… is… cooking!

  • Protip: Buy the Hoper Layer cooker on Temu when there is 50% cashback. $100-$180~

Don't need any of those $500+ cookers. Rice cooks as good if not better.

Grew tired of those non-stick pots that are sensitive to cleaning and are expensive to replace. Go stainless steel with generic sizing, you just chuck it in the Dish washer and replace for $20 when you want.

    • If you want a better pro trip, just go instant pot for $80 on sale sometimes on Amazon. Stainless steel too so no weird coatings

  • Do they have any rice cooked with a stainless steel pot?

    • There are almost no sellers that do stainless steel rice cooker except those that cost $$$$

BUT pro tip: you can just buy a 3/5/8qt instant pot on sale and just pressure cook white rice for 4 minutes and natural release the rest in a 1 to 1 ratio.

      • There is Uncle Buffalo

        • Yes but like I said, they cost $$$$ like Uncle Buffalo costs ~$300 whereas an Instant Pot on a sale can cost as little as ~$80

    • I don't know they are selling it in Australia. if not, I will wait until they add it to Australia site.

Was just about to pull the trigger on the fan, but the $31 delivery fee killed it.

    • Yeah this isn't really a bargain if the item you need to buy plus shipping kill it. Just another fake bargain.
