[Android, IOS] Free Mobility App: Limber @ Google Play / Apple App Store

741

Developer is giving away free lifetime membership to their mobility and flexibility app until 18th Dec, looking for feedback. I've gone through the initial setup and got lifetime access. Looks pretty polished so far.

From Reddit post:
If you want to try the mobility test for yourself:

For the next two weeks, I'm giving a free lifetime subscription to anyone in r/flexibility who wants to see where they score. No credit card details, no renewal trickery. But would be awesome to get some honest feedback in return. That helps us improve the app faster than anything else.

  • May I ask what the ‘in-app purchases’ are please?

    • +3

I haven't delved deep into the app, but at the end of setup a free membership panel popped up instead of paying for a subscription.

After that, I can't find any other in app purchases on a quick browse through the app.

      Expires 23 Oct 2219

If you're not limber or dead by then, ask for a refund.

      • How do I get that ?

        • That's what is showing in the app.

  • +3

Need to go thru all steps, signup with password and email (Although no confirm email request required) then you get free lifetime offer that you accept.

Havent limbered anything yet, except fingers… (IOS version used)

    • Although no confirm email request required

      It goes to junk mail.

  • Got it thanks. Will give it a try. But I question the honesty of this statement that pops up on registering “ More than 85% of people achieve their goals within 1-6 months of consistently using Limber.”

    • Only 1 person has 'consistently' using Limber.

      • So if 85% succeed… that means 0.85 of that one person is absolutely killing it.

I can't get it to sign up, it gives a 400 error when registering. I guess I'm staying unlimber

Close the app, give it a few mins, then try again. It works for me that way

Registration worked for me 👍🏻. Ignored all the sign n with Google/Apple etc options and opted to use email using the Gmail “+” ‘hack’ so I could monitor for spam.

No freezing, no lock ups. Got all the way to ask about linking Apple health and got the “expires 2219” screen too.

Hopefully any issues others are experiencing are just volume/hosting issues.

I signed up easily using email address on Android. App seems quite polished and the initial setup is good as it shows you the range of motion a fit person can do versus my unfit self!

  • Got a link to the reddit post? I couldn't find anything in r/flexibility, or anywhere else, from the dev
Only a spammy looking post under r/GenAiApps.

    • I can't seem to find the post anymore. It was actually a post reporting on the trends that the app's mobility assessment showed rather than specifically about the app itself. The free part of the post was only right at the end.

      Perhaps it was deleted.

    • Andrew here - I'm the founder of Limber.

It was taken down by the mods for coming across as too self promotional haha… but can't please 'em all 😭🤷‍♂️

No idea how that post went up on r/GenAiApps. I didn't post that

      • I just used it. Besides restriction of 2 x Program. It’s a great App

  • Worked on android no issues.
Thanks from a friend who's neck is needing this 🥴

  • Only allow 2 active programs. I guess it would cost to activate more…

  • Thanks for showing up here, Andrew. I’m happy that you responded to my email and also are attempting to solve the issues above. Cheers

  • Wow, thanks for sharing the app!! Didn't have too much issue setting up on Android 12. I am a very much a beginner in stretching and can only give feedback on that perspective. In terms of feedback, after a day of using it on the Daily program, I quite liked the app and its voiceover - explaining how to do a movement and the reason for doing a particular movement. The choice of equipment before a session, I found it very useful. I also noticed that I moved phone quite a bit during and in between the exercises for different positions and would end up rotating the screen a lot and could benefit from a lock screen rotation - but this could just be my habit.

Hope it helps your app development. Once again, thank you for sharing.

Unfortunately I'm not the developer of the app.

Since the original reddit thread has been closed, perhaps the best way to share your feedback would be via the google or apple app store. I'm sure the developer would love to hear such great feedback!

  • Damn, looks like the promo has already finished.
