My experience with Special Gift Cards using a previous Yello offer was exceptionally disappointing. First it wasn't the store's "gift card" but a pre-paid credit card that wasn't accepted by the store I had bought it for. Customer service was by very slow and lengthy exchange of emails and essentially told me it was my fault. Won't use them again and would not recommend. YMMV.
So, how did you redeem the GC in the end?

I read through comments and they say it will work at coles, woolies, aldi, IGA, asian grocer etc
Thats the one I do, and use it at Aldi since there isn't another way to get discounts there.

I usually buy the Supermarket Slayer gift card then spend it buying discounted gift cards as Woolworths or Coles. You can also just use it to buy groceries at a supermarket.
Special gift card is like a prepaid visa card which is why you can use it to buy other gift cards. To spend the Supermarket Slayer gift card in store, you'll need to add to your digital wallet.

Why do you buy the Coles gift card in the shopping centre is there no additional benefit.
She did not suggest that. She meant buying discounted WWS/Coles gift card with the special gift card (acts like a prepaid Visa card).
Just to clarify. I like to use the Supermarket Slayer gift card to buy gift cards like TCN gift cards or Ultimate gift cards when there's promo on for them at Woolworths or Coles.
This way it's like stacking the discounts. E.g. $15 cashback from CBA Yello from buying the $150 Special gift card, then 20x points or 10% off TCN/Ultimate gift cards depending on what the Woolies/Coles promo is.
Can Supermarket Slayer GC be used to buy Woolworths gift cards through Everyday Rewards account?

The outdoor card still seems to work on just about anything. Just tested on medibank
I got a Supermarket Slayer GC and added it to my Apple Wallet, however it’s saying verification needed and then the verification link just takes me to the Special website home page. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I know gift cards can be finicky with Apple Pay (it doesn’t like TCN either) so I will check on a family member’s Google Pay tomorrow.
