I’m travelling to New Zealand soon for 14 Days and noticed that prepaid SIM cards there seem quite expensive. What’s the most cost-effective option for getting a large amount of mobile data?
Should I ask my relatives in New Zealand to buy a local prepaid SIM for me?
Is it better to get a travel SIM?
Or use an Australian SIM with international roaming?
Would love to hear what others have done and what offers the best value for heavy data use.

Not as far as I know, never tried tbh as the in-laws pick us up at the airport so never had a need

When I go to NZ i use Simcorner. Get a 10% signup bonus. I use for calls and data though
