To collect 5,000 bonus points, download the Coles app, link your Flybuys to your Coles account and activate any Flybuys offer in the Coles app between Fri 5 Dec and Thu 11 Dec 2025.

Points allocated by Thu 8 Jan 2026.

Offer available between Fri 5 Dec and Thu 11 Dec 2025 (Offer Period) for Flybuys members. To qualify for this offer you must be a Flybuys member, download the Coles app, link your Flybuys in the Coles app and activate any Coles Flybuys offer in the Coles app within the Offer Period. Bonus points can be collected once per Flybuys account. Points collected will appear in qualifying members’ account no later than 4 weeks after the Offer Period.

      no - as per deal screenshot and T&Cs, there’s nothing to activate, no mention of “This offer is only valid for the email associated with the account receiving these communications.”

    I did it last time it was offered. Point were supposed to appear late November. You can guess the rest.

      Bonus pts dated on 23 Nov, appeared on 25 Nov.

      There seems no issue for me as I got bonus pts on a few accounts.

          I can only say using the same phone number for a few accounts is fine, do not go extraordinary.

              @tonester: I think his account closure may not relate to flybuys issue, as I also have Coles online account (created before covid, never shopped) closed with even no notification, obviously never linked to flybuys. At that time, Coles online shopping was not popular or close to non-existence. Pre-covid, my Pizza Hut online account was also closed after about 3 years of no use.

        All I can see in November are points for spending. Since they didn't give the points, I'll delete the app.

        Fuel vouchers no longer appear in the Coles app to activate for this offer.

          Okay, possibly as Target, Kmart offers usually do not appear in Coles App.

          Confirmed correct. I just linked the flybuys and the existing fuel voucher is not viewable in Coles App.

          Pro tips: do not participate the promo if there is no Coles activatable offer in the account (till the last day). Check offer by click my offers tab in a flybuys e-mail (do not click activate now as the only available offer may be wasted). Only activate a Coles offer in Coles App.

      If you have not received a flybuys e-mail or found it in your account, you are not targeted/eligible for this offer.

      Obviously, the flybuys that have been linked to Coles App before 5 Dec won't have a chance to receive this offer.

      Check offer by click my offers tab in a flybuys e-mail (do not click activate now as the only available offer may be wasted). Some not receiving bonus pts from last time could have no offer to activate in Coles App later.

    Is there a need to click any link or activate any offer before proceeding to download the Coles app and linking Flybuys account to the Coles app?

    My partner just went ahead to the App store to download the Coles app and link her Flybuys (per the conditions of this 5000 points offer).

    We discovered after the fact that there was a targeted offer for her within the Flybuys app - meaning she has been targeted for the offer.

    • However, we are wondering whether there was need to "click" through this 5000 points offer in the Flybuys app before we proceeded to download the Coles app.

    We tried clicking this 5000 points offer in the Flybuys app but it was not something that could be "activated" and only re-directed us to the standard Coles website to download the app.

    Some advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

      My Coles App was pre-installed and was not a factor for success in the last promotion.

    The title is misleading / incorrect. It looks as though this is a FLY BUYS offer, not a Coles app offer. The steps to get the points include downloading the Coles App, activating an offer in the Coles app, etc… but only if you were TARGETED in the FLY BUYS app first..

      I've done this offer on a bunch of accounts and I am pretty sure it does not need to be activated. In fact it does not even have an "activate" button available, just shows up there. If you see this offer in your flybuys account, you can follow the steps and activate a fb offer in the Coles app to get the 5000 pts.
