  • Been trying to find a compact vac like this that will plug into a car. With kids it's always a battle to keep the car clean. Anyone know if you can get an adaptor or the like hook this into an EV?

    • A coat hanger should work.

      • only in the first few weeks of pregnancy though

  • If size wasn't a problem would an Ozito wet & dry vacuum be better?

    • +1

This is 780W, the Ozito is 1250W, and so the Ozito likely has more suction power. But for many wat-dry vacuums like the Ozito, you have to "convert to wet mode" by putting a sock on the air filter / change the filter, which is a small inconvenience.

When you get up to the bigger models like the Ozito 35L 1200W, they have the additional feature of a built-in power outlet — "the Power Take Off function automatically starts the vacuum when a connected power tool is switched on; simply plug the power tool into the integrated power socket and use the vacuum for dust extraction while you work."

I got this for $39 at my local TGG today.

    • good deal, which store?

      • Sorry for late response. This was Castle Hill NSW

  • Serious question.
Are these suitable for vacuuming up dog piss on a hardwood floor?
Have an older relative with a sick dog that pisses on the floorboards. It is a struggle for them cleaning it up with paper towels.
Any other wet vacuums or better products people can recommend?

It would be suitable. Just have to be regimented with cleaning out the waste container, cleaning the filter on the lid and surrounds and flushing fresh water through each time. Wouldn’t want stale urine to be sitting in the container for too long.
