The same as when they are not on sale.

  • These have been $70 in the past. I tried them. They were ok but flogged them off on eBay for $150.

  • Rip no size 15

These boots are garbage. all the new stuff is trash. i had an old pair made in the uk, now they are made poorly and cheap in China, Vietnam, and other 3rd world asian countries.

the "leather" is hard and stiff corrected-grain with a thick coating that cracks. very cheap and poor quality.

    • I've had three pairs of modern docs; 1460's, Chelsea's, and Jadon II's.

The 1460's were crap both overall and for the price (~$120), the Chelsea's were what I'd expect for the sale price I paid for them (~$100), and the Jadon II's were of a higher quality that could justify $180 I paid.

It's clear they have varying qualities depending whether you're going through a temporary hipster phase or you're a true blue SHARP.

    • Yeah, I've gone the Thursday / Red Wing route for this reason… they can be on the pricier side and the latter can be a bit more difficult to break in (at least with Moc Toe's), but would rather buy a great pair of boots that last than something from Doc Martens.

    • I bought a pair of doc martin oxfords and the sole has fell apart. Never again.

Doc martens are like walking around with bricks tied to your feet

But wearing them is like a visa into Newtown and Fitzroy.

      • …. What?

    • Timberlands are like this for me 😱

I got the black ones earlier this year for $100 through the Catch closing down sale and agree with the two comments above. Very hard and uncomfortable, and in my case the crease digs into my metatarsals. I can wear it once in a while but not everyday.
    A real waste of money!

    • Yes i saw that as well and i have a feeling they were selling fake ones maybe as some other seller was selling it

I have the crazy horse leather version. They are painful to wear but I think they need breaking in. To help with comfort I replaced the laces with elastic laces and they are now wearable without painfully cutting into your legs and ankles. I'm happy with them for the nostalgia and looks. They're not comfortable like Crocs but they were never going to be

      • Socks with sandals are the way to go. *uck the fashion police!

  • I Returned these Boots , the minute I opened the Box . Unlike Original Dr martens , the “ Made in Vietnam “ quality is horrible , you can see and feel the leather quality .

  • like the boots but no US10

Thanks…need something casual to wear to the beach.

  • Thanks for posting this man, despite the concerns about quality I think for $130 it's worth a punt and see how long they last with some regular care!
