I missed the C5 Black Friday and it made searching for G5. It’s now cheaper that C5.
G5 comes with wall mount. This could cost someone around 150-400 (depending on the brand and style). Delivery and installation is another cost.
Any thought whether this is an okay bargain?
Might be a little dependent on location as Appliance Central free delivery only applies to certain areas.
$197 delivery cost to QLD for instance. This usually gets factored into price matches
Got the LG G5 77 and S95TR for $5000 from JB during Black Friday. I’d wait until Boxing Day.

also impressive that nearly 3 years in after buying my CX 65" (kinda G1/G2 hybrid), LG is still able to charge the same price for a 65" TV, but with newer G5 tech
I think you may be getting confused here - The CX has no relation to the G1/G2. The C series are substantially cheaper than the G series.
The CX here in australia seemed to be reviewed as a bit weird, with the later main board inside than that years models, and a screen hugely better than the G1, a bit dimmer than the G2…
it was half the price of the G2 at the time, and same price as the G1's, no reviewers at the time could quite determine which screen was used, leading them to believe it may have been a G2, but 'binned' somehow without the extra heatsinking or something making it a bit dimmer.
either way, that's how i recall things, chuffed to bits with it still though
The CX was released in 2020, which was before the C1/G1 (2021) and C2/G2 (2022) were released.
You seem to be referring to the LG CS (released in 2022) which was a mixture of C1/C2 (not G1/G2) parts and had some great deals at the time.
I have no doubt it's a great TV - I have a 55C9 which is still going strong with daily use since 2019, and I loved it so much I got an 83G4.
It's available at Appliance Central for $3320… so depends whether anyone sees value in Harvey Norman installing it…
Personally I'd boycott Harvey and see if somewhere will match Appliance Central including installation
