ASUS Prime RTX 5070 Ti 16GB Graphics Card $1379 Delivered (+Bonus $100 eGift Card via Redemption) @ Computer Alliance

103

Seems like a decent deal with $100 gift card promo. Gift card seems to have a wide scope including use at Amazon and Bunnings + many others. Similar deal also available at UMart / MSY + Delivery.

Opened this thinking it was going to be around $1100… that would've made me sad about getting the 9070 XT instead.

Yeah, I am still waiting for it to get closer to that. If they won't make it by EOY I will likely go 9070XT.

Thats why you unsubscribe the second you buy, just enjoy your card

This is the normal price at Centrecom, also with an asus gift card. Not a bargain!

    • -8

      wrong. centrecom is in-store only.

      • -7

No idea why i’m being negged here. It literally says in-store only on their product page. Therefore unobtainable for many, and does not come with free delivery. But you do have a right to be dimwitted, I guess 🤷‍♂️

Given the RAM and SSD prices skyrocketing these days, I would say other PC components would suffer in sales alot more.
GPU might go up but if fewer people are building or upgrading PC, I don't think they have a case to increase the cost (at least by not much).
This price is still too high though for 5070 Ti. Another $80 to $100 off with $100 GC would be acceptable.

    • Possible. Or they also see this likely trend and just do as Micron did and pivot production further into AI, decreasing supply of consumer products (driving up prices).

This is my thought process as well. My only concern is how some manufacturers are going to survive the next few years till the AI garbage bursts.

Sales of CPU's, motherboards. PC cases, CPU coolers, fans, PSU's etc are all going to plummet because ram and ssd prices make building not feasible.

    Downvoting because there's a 5070 TI 16GB model which is cheaper than $1279 ($1379 - $100 GC)
And considering how slow Asus is with their handing out promotion gift cards…

The main advantage of the Asus model is that it only takes up 2.5 PCI-e slots instead of 3, like most of the other 5070 TIs. Good for small form factor cases.

If you want a SFF model, isnt this better? $1289
        It's smaller than the asus prime in every regard 300mm x 116mm x 41mm vs 306mm x 126mm x 50mm

        • Good find, I wasn't aware of this model!

@Dealf Hunter: No problem! Have fun building! I love SFF so I get it as well ;)

          • +1

@Dealf Hunter: The inno3d cooler is supposedly not as good as the Asus prime one. But each to their own. I would go the Asus if it fits, especially if you care about fan noise. Asus also has dual bios. No idea if inno3d has that or not.

Hopefully this or the base PNY version gets a further $100 off at end of year sales. These cards are all too expensive

  • Not even a deal

    • depends what you're wanting. cheapest 5070ti? No. This particular card model? Yes.

  • Dam I just bought it at $1419

    • meh, close enough. don't forget to claim the gift card though. or at least ask if they can re-invoice the order with a later date if you bought before the promo started.

      • I checked and I bought the OC version because this prime version was out of stock

Mine is in the promotion period and I already submitted mine to Asus. Thanks for your reminder all the same.

The only issue I have now is Asus website rejects my SN regardless of how many times I try

        • Oh that sounds dodgy. Maybe a 0/O in the number or something? There’s a support email address on the promo page. Hope you get it sorted
