Honestly, not a bad price considering last ATL was 2021 with next "great price" being 2023 - haven't seen prices near those lows since.
The other option to get Catan 3D under $300 is through Kogan using their $300 credit card promo.

CamelCamelCamel. The 3D set it self has a lot of drawbacks like no "3D" 5-6 expansion making the 3D version a 4 player max only experience.
Definitely for the fans with deep pockets :(

Average board game enthusiast. Don't tell bro about average Kickstarter spends by such people
What a fascinating video, I was barely managing to keep up with the explanation about the strats and best lines of play
Looks so cool but yeah out of my price range. Love this game
Has anyone else heard of the made up rule of saying 'thats catan' at the end of your turn or is it just my friendship group 🤣
"Maybe the real treasure is the $$$$ we've spent on board games along the way"
"Woah, that's Catan, bro"
Might not come on time due to earthquakes and all
While I'm not shy of spending $$$ on board games it's hard to swallow the ~$200 price difference. I guess it's conceivable that we'll never see those low prices again. Limited edition or OOS board/card games can be so expensive these days.
Looks cool, appears to fit together well (probably avoids any "earthquakes" of Catan), but, I would expect any semi enthusiastic player would want compatibilty with extentions and expansions, either now, or in the future.
I wonder what it costs to 3D print the lot instead…
I have this, I would avoid, felt like there was better way it could have been designed, one of the biggest the number disks don't really have a dedicted slot for them to sit in and just of sort of awkwardly balance on the tiles.
Bought this for Christmas for the kids back in 2023 from Amazon for $201. Expansion was $260. Both on the shelf of shame.
Definitely try before you buy. I played 3d version a couple times, didn't like it. Likewise Catan connect, fun to try at a board game event, but don't buy it.
That looks so cool! Out of my price range though
