  • is this like overcooked for removalists? Not sure I would've gone for a Removalist themed game but if it's fun, why not! Sometimes teh cheapest switch party games get the most play at ours

Sorry, type out a bunch but mixing up some games. Still, the other comment stands as it is not as polished

Try the demo! I would say if you love overcooked, you may like this.

Moving out does not have the same level of polish as Overcooked or Boomerang Fu. Frame drops, control doesn't feel as tight and idea sounds good on paper but doesnt quite nail it as a top tier couch coop games.

Still good though. And light years ahead of Oddballer performance

Warning not to play this with your kids…dad, do this, dad, you’re not helping. 🥲

  • At what year / age do you think a kid can handle this?

    • +1

The required age depends on how much the parent want to complete the mission vs having a laugh with the kid when it goes messy.

Every kid is different but as far as conmpleting the game together, i would say probably around year 4-5 when they can be more determined to finish game together? Having said that i have seen kindy kid able to handle coordinations for multiple button pressing without looking at their controller anymore.

Only when they appreciate the reference when you yell "Pivot! Pivot!"

Is Moving Out 2 any better than 1? It's also on ATL.

    • Moving out 2 is pretty much the same…but added some extra functions.

You can download the demo if you’re not sure you want to buy it.

I used to play this with my sister. But then she got married and actually moved out. I didn't help with that.

  • Great game to play with kids. Aussie developer too IIRC.

  • Great deal, thanks!~

Also Overcooked: All you can eat is at an all time low of $14.23

Moving out and Overcooked is a good 4 player co-op game with the kids.

Also if Boomerang Fu is good too…you can connect up to 6 joy cons for 6 players.

I wish they had an adventure mode or something.

        • Waves of baddies for co-op defense :)

          • @UnrealMacaw: I was thinking more like maps and bosses. Like Mario 3D World or something with food-based enemies. But with the same powerups as the battle royale mode.

    • Just an FYI, if you have or plan on getting a Switch 2, the new Switch 2 upgrade pack supposedly isn't compatible with the All You Can Eat Edition.

  • Thanks OP got this

  • Bought the game and all DLCs for $8.99 exactly a month ago and haven't opened even once…

And now everything is $3.75+$1.80+$2.20=$7.75 - $1.24 went down the drain.

    • Mr. Silver Lining over here.

      Buy high, play low

  • Played this a lot with my 6 year old on xbox game pass. He loves it and has settings to adjust so he can play it fine by himself also.
