You are correct, but sometimes finding OzPinchingPennies, working out what cashback is and how to use it, downloading another app, turning wi-fi off, using Chrome, dancing to the howling moon when it is retrograde, and praying over the tea leaves that it will track and finally hit your account sometime after your next birthday, and then you have to remember to go in and solve a riddle to get it transferred to your bank account, is a stretch too far for your average shopper.
