    Is it ATL?

    • +2

not ATL, I have mention this in the description.

      • +6

        Nah, i paid $200 a year ago.

        • +7

Was the deal of the year honestly

    • +1

No I bought one for $200 last year from eBay

  • -3

Haha nah. More phone sales are coming.

    • Prices will rise due to the ram shortage….

      • Hahahahaha no.

      • Ram is soc and not discreet.

      • Lets all see if im wrong in 3-6 months time shall we :)

Ive even seen news stories on how phone manufactures will probably use less ram in the future, 4 gigs instead of 8.

  • +4

Lots of phone for the money but a hard sell atm with Boxing Day sales on the horizon

    • +1

A bird in the hand and all that, especially after Black Friday

    Mediatek Dimensity 7300 (4 nm

  • +2

can't believe this is still about the same price or higher than last year. shouldn't moto have moved on to like edge 60 neo or something by now?

    • Its a rehash out in some countries no point releasing it. It uses Dimensity 7400 and bigger battery. 7300 and 7400 almost identical.

Atl low was $299 i think it was … Harvey Moron with the $50 gift card

    • Atl was $199 through SydneyMobiles ebay store.

      • …if you never had your order cancelled.

  • +1

171 grams, at least it's relatively "light" by modern standards.

    • Can confirm - got one from HN for $348 a while back for my son, and it's noticeably lighter than my Xiaomi 15 with almost same size screen. The Xiaomi's screen and cameras are much nicer, but you pay for it….

  • +1

Hate this shop, have bought 2 specials like this in the past then 3 weeks later, further discounted. I'm betting this will be $280.
No price match our guarantee. That's why I'll pay the corporates instead of independents.

    • -3

Indeed, who would be there to tell you if the deals are shite? Hmm….

    • So your expectation is for them to not lower the price after you decided it was a fair price to buy. So in other words screw everyone instead of lowering their price to others for a better deal.

Seems very selfish and anti-consumer and pro greed. Don't you want other people to have benefits or should you be the one with the most benefit.

      • Oh come off it. He's annoyed that he paid the higher price.

  • +1

    easily lasts a full day
    For a few months :)
(Writing from my Motorola plugged to a charger at 8pm :D)

    • Sounds like somethings wrong :(

      Had mine since release-week.
      Needs charging every 2 days.
If I dont make many calls I manage 3!

Only time I got it low in 24 hours was in Japan; where I was doing hours of screen on time using GPS for walking maps for literally whole days, while simultaneously using Bluetooth to play my music collection.

      Partners is the same.

      • Fast charging is apparently killing the battery despite so convenient

        • Ah, yeah I'd believe that. Happens to anything with fast charging.

          I use a 5W charger overnight.

  • +5

No deal, got it for $200 last time :)

Typed this on my $200 neo, best value phone I've ever owned after years of owning Samsungs.

Great present for my 9yo !

      • +4

        Name checks out

  • Motorola's updates are inconsistent, but the 'Neo' series was promised security updates to 2029, so even being a year old it has the same support as some of the newer moto phones.

    • +1

a number of us went on to their forums and made a fuss about no updates September to March they then finally enabled it. So when will it stop? no one knows.

  • Not that cheapad Got it for $313 delivered from Good Guys in June but haven't really used it yet with my son just some WiFi as my s20Fe expires this month so will set up around Christmas, it seems pretty cool, definitely amazing value and ye 5yrs support. I'm not a hugely heavy user but got for light weight mainly and price …

  • +3

Give me another $100 off to make it a deal and I’ll order one 😝😝😝😝

  • Neo 60 will arrive soon

    • Sadly don't think they're releasing it here in Aus.

The Edge 60 Pro and Fusion have been here for months, but neither the regular Edge 60 or Neo have arrived. They were all released in other countries months ago.

  • Ok price but I got this a year ago for less.

  • -1

I had a chance to use this Neo phone, I found camera to be just average. Better to get used 3 years old flagship phone.

  • +1

MTK 7300, 4310 mAh $377 is the normal price.

  • Can anyone confirm if the Motorola Edge 50 Neo is 'Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM'?

    Gsmarena lists
    https://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_edge_50_neo-13224.php

    SIM
    · Nano-SIM + eSIM
    · Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM

    • +2

      Dual SIM (Nano + eSIM)

      • Thanks @AHUANG

Why does Gsmarena list 2 versions?

        SIM
        · Nano-SIM + eSIM
        · Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM

Which is the Motorola Edge 50 Neo version that has "Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM" ?

        • There may be some regional differences, but we do our best to ensure the correct version is listed on our website.

          • @AHUANG: Thanks @AHUANG

Is there anywhere in Australia where I can BUY the Motorola Edge 50 / 60 Neo that is the "Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM" version ??
