Best price I have seen and camel x3 confirms lowest price. Good if you have Sony soundbar/TV.

200W Wireless Subwoofer for BRAVIA THEATER (BAR 9, BAR 8, QUAD), HT-A9, HT-A7000, HT-A5000, HT-A3000, HT-S2000 and STR-AN1000.

Sony marketing spiel:
The Sony SA-SW3 is a compact 200 W wireless subwoofer that adds deep, rich bass to your home entertainment setup, enhancing the impact of movies, music, and games with fuller low-frequency sound. It features a 160 mm bass reflex driver driven by a digital S-Master amplifier for powerful, distortion-controlled bass performance without rattling or muddiness — perfect for bringing cinematic punch to dialogue, explosions and music beats.

Designed to work seamlessly with compatible Sony soundbars and home theatre systems, the SA-SW3 connects wirelessly, letting you place it where it delivers the best bass response without messy cables. Its Omnidirectional Block Design and refined finish also complement modern living spaces. The subwoofer incorporates Sony’s Σ (Sigma) Magnetic Circuit and Separated Notch Edge technologies to maximise bass output while maintaining clarity and control.

With around 200 W total output, easy plug-in setup, and an efficient wireless link to your sound system, the SA-SW3 is a simple way to elevate the low-end of your audio experience for more immersive sound.

  • That's a great price for this sub, been watching the prices before and throughout black Friday, ended up buying a box damaged one off Sony eBay for $180 so this price for brand new is amazing.

Noting, need to have a compatible Sony soundbar / theatre system to connect this sub, doesn't work directly with a TV regardless if it's a Sony.

  • Great price.

  • Not bad at all. Have had no issues with connectivity, but bass is not that strong

    • I second this.

  • According to Sony "Please note: This product is only compatible with HT-A9000, HT-A8000, HT-A7000, HT-A5000, HT-A3000, HT-A9 and HT-A9M2 soundbars"

  • I really want to buy it, but I already have one, I bought it second hand for just over $200, and the HT-A9 doesn’t support dual subwoofers.

  • Why do so many wireless subs not have a wired input? It would probably cost them a couple dollars to add a connection.

    • +1

because you could then use it outside of their ecosystem

  • Damn, thought this was a 200W powerbank for a second.

  • +1

Don't see why they don't just put at least a low-level input for those who want to use it as a sub - they'd sell a few extra thats for sure

  • The cheapest compatible soundbar I could find is the Sony HT-S2000 for $400 ($300 off) at Harvey Norman.

I'd only be tempted if it had wired inputs to make it universal, but it's a really good deal if anyone already has a compatible soundbar.

I have a REL T-ZERO MKIII sub coming in the mail that I got a good deal on in recent sales and 2 other subs at home already so it's probably a good thing I can't use it, or I'd end up just buying it because it's a good deal and impulse buy it.

    • Probably a good thing you didn't buy it cause it's only compatible with the HT-A series soundbars, not the HT-S.

      • +1

Thanks for correcting me, I used Gemini and asked if for the cheapest compatible soundbar. I should have known better and double checked.
