Very slippery, pinky hurts where the bottom cutout is, magsafe not as strong as the silicone one(maybe because silicone less slippery).
I used mine for a week and changed to the silicone after that.
It will probably last more than the silicone though
The clear case has a big white section on the back which looks ridiculous. Take a look at a picture of it on an orange or blue phone before you buy it.
Absolutely, got the white so I’m fine, but otherwise it’s hideous
From my exprience of clear case and magsafepack (the discontinued model), it doesn't stick well as silicon case, also slippery.
I bought both silicon and clear from OW when they were on clearnce, only $5, always use silicon one.
the only good colour is Neon Yellow
I for the past 10yrs have only ever used Apple cases. However, I got this clear case from Amazon and cannot fault it. MagSafe is super strong and also completely protects the bottom of the iPhone, unlike the Apple case.

On amazon my favourite brand is ESR and they are one of the most expensive at $15-20 , other brands on amazin less tfsn $15 , not to mention ali/temu

fyi. there are hoards of people that will buy an iphone, and only buy accessories (cases etc) from the apple store.
it's hard to believe but yes, especially in some cultures, the brand recognition and convenience for some reason outweighs everything else (price, actual function of product).
from all the youtube algorithm recommended me, afaik apple cases in general are rated terribly while costing 10x more on average. issues include peeling of finish (i think this was specifically terrible for the vegan leather ones, which they discontinued, they were a huge flop), weak magnetic strength, coming off too easily (corner test), and most of them don't do a proper job of protecting the phone.
but you will still see people buying their phone at the apple store, and saying "go on" when the Tim Apple genius says would you like accessories to go with that??
yep, that reminds me, my partner got a iphone from apple store a few weeks ago, seen everybody getting screen protectors installed by apple staff , asked how much for screen protector , answer: $69

I get my screen protectors from ESR again at $12 for a pack of 3, but there are cheaper options
well to be optimistic about it, hopefully those millions they made from selling apple accessories, was the reason the base model iPhone 17's price didn't go up from last year's model.
but tbh it could be because of the eye watering retail price of the iPhone air (and the discontinuation of iPhone 17 Plus), which is worse in so many ways to the base model 17 (except thickness). btw I saw early japanese youtube impressions of the Air, and guy commented as soon as you put a case on the difference to the normal 17 in thickness is almost unnoticable. 😂
I’ve churned through Amazon cases, iPhone ones are the only ones that haven’t turned yellow, and work seemlessly with wireless charging ect, if you’re going to pay $60 for a caseify or belkin id spend the extra ten for apple because why not, they have a good warranty and flawless first product.
Ymmv . But for me most amazon ones i bought have not yellowed , but i dont go for dirt cheap , but somewhere in the middle
