I bought a 1500A Gooloo starter pack about 4-5years ago. It’s got me out of trouble several times and I have never had an issue with it. So, I’ve grabbed one of these for the other car. Cheers OP.

It's also handy to be the hero when other people need it. But this is one of those things where you're better off having it and not needing it, rather than the opposite.

Semantics. What he actually means is, "Even though I can read the description, I choose to ignore it because I'm jaded and desensitised to marketing tricks and hyperbole. In which case, OzBargain Hivemind, tell me truly: just how effective and efficient is this thing at pumping tyres?"
Except that sounds weird, and asking a simpler, more basic question is easier to understand. Except for when people miss this part and choose to focus on the literal question, point out the obvious, NOT ANSWER the real questions, which then makes them look more of a fool.

From watching a review video - Makes a fair amount of noise and useful for emergency, but probably not for regular maintenance
Example was a 32" tyre at 10psi took about 12 minutes to get to 40psi- 4

I have this one from the last time it was on offer at a similar price.
Confirm the jump starter works exactly as described and useful for powerbank etc.
The air compressor is loud like you would expect a small unit to be sucking air in and pushing it out. I tried using it as an air compressor/duster to blow out dust inside the car with one of the small nozzles and it feels like hardly any air comes out. I guess it works on a tyre because they have non-return valves, but it feels like it would take ages and struggle to properly work on tyres. Probably fine for getting you going temporarily until you get to the servo to then do it properly.
The main tyre attachment is entirely plastic so doesn't give the best fit onto the valve.
For the price I'm happy.- 0

I'm worried that because this is basically just a big lithium battery, it's important to keep these things cool, but cars can get really hot in summer.
What are those of you who are storing one in the car doing? Keeping it in an esky, wrapping it in some form of insulation, something else?- 2

This is definitely an issue. We bought a couple in 2019 and had to chuck both out as the batteries started bulging and pushed the device apart.

In the footwell of my magna, 40° qld heat, no issue. Drops around 1% of charge a month. Highly recommended (GT4000)

The instructions basically say you can't keep it in a car (!) because it says the maximum storage temp is 25c or something like that. I had to purchase this as my previous RavPower one started bulging…

I use two esky, one inside another, stored in the car boot.

I make sure I remove it from my car if I'm going to be parking outdoors in the hot sun. You definitely do not want to be cooking a Lithium-ion battery inside a hot car where it can get up to 70-80 degrees Celsius.

Don't know of any from Bunnings or Supercheap Auto that come with Aircompressor and they all start from $100… So this is good value.

I have this one. I used it 4 times today. My 4WD battery decided to give up. I had to jump start my car 4 different times. Easy to use. Also used it to inflate tyres.
