  • How do you make it $791? Also I can't tell if this is Gen 1 or Gen 2.

    • seems gen2 is 2000W output while this is 1800W

seems we get old crap again :(

      • +1

I would not call this crap, but yes, the older model.

      • +1

What are you planning on running that 1800 W is not enough for?

99% of users will never need that much

    • +1

Looks like the OP was mentioning something about AnkerCredits Rewards Program? I'm not sure I haven't been able to get it down to $791 either.

      • +1

Sign up to the site and you get a discount code instantly

        • I've not had much luck stacking coupons though.

          • @RNDM: Seemed to work easily with zero problems as I just tested to see if working or not.

  • Still hanging out for the C2000

  • +4

Can I recharge this at work? Asking for a friend…

    • Yes

    • And make like 0~30c per day and carry 10kilo to and from work?

      • +1

        Save 30c a day, x365 = $109.50
        I will give you a 30% off as I don't think you'll go to work every day. That's $76.65
The battery lasts for 10 years, that's $766.50

While it may look like that's still less than $791, don't forget about inflation.
I am sure you will be saving 60c a day 10 years later.
        That's $776.50x1.5 =$1149.75 assuming inflation at a constant speed.

        It does worth it. 😂

        • +2

Just buy a solar panel for half the price and get twice as much energy out of it without the effort.

          • @MrTweek: how is that fun compare to ripping off your work place. This is a heist to me in very slow motion, I get in, I take their power, and I get out.

      • +4

buy 2. save 60c per day and get big muscles. google the benefits of farmers carry. eventually once your muscles get bigger you will need to buy another 2, so saving $1.20 a day and become BEEFCAKE

    • +3

Good job on saving 20-30 cents a day. You'll have enough for a house deposit in no time

      • Well they went from the standard 10% deposit down to 5% and now down to 2%. So it's only a matter of time before $38c/day gets you a house deposit.

  • +1

That's a lot of capability for 800 bux. So far my camping battery setup is:

    $330 - Kings battery box and 100AH/1280Wh LiFePo4 battery "2,000 cycles" (Solix likely ~80AH?)
$110 - Victon 75|15 MPPT bluetooth Smartsolar charge controller (granted it's external so I can charge other batteries)
    $40 - 100A shunt + battery meter from Ali
    $10 - 2 x USB-PD cigarette socket connector from Ali

So around $500 all up, however my box doesn't have AC charging (Victron 25 amp is around $250), and maximum continuous discharge is 100 amps.

Not a chance I could build my own power station, to these specs, for anywhere near the pricing.

    • +2

      My setup is,

$160~ HumsiENK 150ah lithium battery (1920wh) with Bluetooth BMS from Temu (buy when shopback has 50 or 60% cashback to achieve that price)
$22 Atempower 20A MTTP solar charger (once again, Temu 50% cashback)
$20 USB PD power box from Ali that can plug the fridge into and any devices that need USB charging.
      $59 battery box from Kmart

Total cost $261 and almost double the capacity of the deal here… However the setup is obviously a bit less sleek and doesn't have an inverter for 240v stuff, personally I haven't found the need while camping yet. Could always plug one into the Andersen plugs on the battery box if needed in the future though.

      • +1

Nice. I have been also buying big ticket items from Temu using 50% cashback with good success,

works out awesome. Just make sure not to run any continues loads more than 30Amps in total from the

Anderson plugs on that battery box (most older small, low price (below $100) powered battery boxes are

the same regarding wiring and fusing). If connecting an 240 V inverter more than 300W, I would go straight

to the external battery terminals as the inverter should be fused itself and have an auto overload cut off.

        • +1

Thanks for the tip, yeah I guess you are right if I ever decided to hook up any decently sized inverter I'd have to wire it direct with good sized cable. They pull some serious current at the higher wattage at 12v.

  • +1

what is the expected useful life of these units? I see the warranty is 5 years.

    • +3

Fitted with Long-Lasting LFP batteries with 3,000 cycles

      1x cycle per day = 8.2 years

      • +1

        Cheers mate

        • +4

Also know at that time you can still expect 80% capacity from the battery. Not sure about other components

    • 1kwh aint gonna provide much useful uses other than maybe power small devices like a nbn modem/router for extended periods.

      • I got this one and it runs my Dometic 55l fridge for 3-4 days, plus a few small things like charging phones and lights.

  • Can this be hooked up to be recharged via solar?

    • +1

Yes, provided your panel is compatible.

  • Considering something if power goes out for fridge, freezer and NBN. Any recommendations.

    • +4

I've considered this, given I'm currently in a power outage >12hour in WA. Based on my fridges daily usage is 1510Wh based on rated yearly energy usage, I'll be lucky to get 16-18hours of usage without calculating inefficiencies.

In your event case, I'd believe a home battery setup may be better if you have Solar already and don't require portability.

      • For 1/5th the price you get 2% of the capacity of bigger system that cost 4-5k

        Obs need solar in place.

Even for camping these are sorta useless for extended trips

        • Na camping these things are perfect, especially with a portable solar panel. Pending you don't have completely trash weather you'll power a camping fridge (or 2) for a very long time, way longer than most people would care to camp.

      • No solar currently but it's on the wish list

    • Yep, save yourself the $899 and put it towards a 51.2kWh battery system for $3999 before it becomes $14k in May next year due to the change of heart in government rebates. The battery STCs have almost been Ozbargained.

  • +2

I noticed this was about $799 instore at my local Costco last weekend, not sure if it is still going, might be of interest to someone here.
EcoFlow Delta 2 950 Portable Power Station

  • Bummer, can't bring this powerbank into the cabin

    • +1

I hope you are not going to leave it outside. It's not weatherproof.

    • Because of the battery? or…

      • +1

That depends on what type of cabin they are talking about (might have just been joking ? lol).

  • +1

Anker, Ecoflow, Bluetti, Allpowers, Voltax all make power stations with their pro and cons and various prices.

This Segway Cube c1000 is still on sale for $699 delivered (backorder) and also worth consideration.

  • I have a 20KWh battery at home already, shall I add another 1KWh for emergency?

    • +1

If 20wkh is not enough. Exta 5% wont help much. A backup generator might be a better option.

  • Does this have decent UPS functionality and black start from solar when fully discharged?

    • +1

I use it in UPS mode every day on a PC with 4 x 27" screens. Dont notice the cutover at all. I believe it will wake and charge on solar but I haven't tested that.

  • I joined the website, but haven't seen or received a 12% coupon. It also doesn't auto-apply at checkout. Can anyone tell me what the code looks like, or where they came across it? As mentioned, the 15% newsletter code came through, but does not stack.

    • Go to your profile; it will be under "My Coupons." Also, one thing I didn't try was clicking on the referrals here. Maybe you can get another 10% to stack? I am not sure, but it's worth a try.

      • +3

Thanks. I managed to sign up using a different email address, for which the coupons did appear.

The 12% coupon no longer stacks.

$791 was a really good deal. $899 is in line with their usual bundle pricing, etc…

        • +1

Same, I spent 2 days thinking and now just as I was going to pull the trigger, the 12% no longer stacks.

          Oh well…

      • I can't see the 12% code, only the 15% welcome code under My Coupons. Boo.

        • maybe you signed up to their website before? Try with a new email.

          • @danaahm: No first time.. Will try again!

            • @Milbo00: Worked this time but 12% won't stack

              • @Milbo00: Pretty sure you can only use one code now as I rested after reading above comments.

  • +1

I bought this model after owning an Ecoflow and Pecron, both were junk with horrible support. This unit has been great and Anker is way more responsive which is a bonus. I also have the 1024wh expansion battery. Ive been cycling them both daily for about 3 months, been perfect so far.

    • How many db noise is there under medium to heavy 1000W-1800W drawing ?
