  • Most places have it for around $899 from what I could see, but Centrecom is listing old price as $399, making it feel like a listing error?

  • Is it ok for office work too? Any known issues?

    • Seems to be a new model, so not really any reviews.
I've bought one for my nephew, but won't be opening it until Christmas (code expires and price goes to $229). If you're still interested then, I'll provide an update.

Lowkey for office work I prefer 4k 32" displays, even if at a lower refresh rate (epecially if working with large amounts of text).

      • I would like 2 monitors and then 2 x 32" becomes too much. Hence I prefer 2 x 27". Yes please provide your feedback when you open it.

      • Super interested in this, why not go higher than 32"?

        • +1

I use a triple horizontal monitor setup for work. With my desk depth, >32" means I need to rotate my head to an uncomfortable degree to see the outer halves of the outer monitors.

In theory if I had one or more monitors vertical it would be fine, but I'm not a fan of that layout for reasons I don't understand myself…

… Also 32" is basically as big as mainstream monitors get.

      • Do you use scaling? I’m always curious how native 27” 1440p compares to native 32” 4K without adjusting text size. I like 1440p but the text is just a little too small without glasses.

        • I don't use scaling for the sole reason that I often need to monitor many dashboards concurrently, but generally the applications I use support scaling within the app itself so I do a bit in there depending on what it's for.

Specifically I'm a software dev, so I can adjust the editor display size in my editor itself to be a bit larger. For service monitoring dashboards I keep those unscaled.

  • Whats the difference between this and the 27qe model.

    • +1

27qe is only 180hz, whereas this model is 240hz. Different stand/entire monitor designs, both have the same maximum sRGB colour gamut of 99 percent. Lower rated brightness on the 27Q-10 (300cd/m2 vs 450cd/m2) and slightly higher power draw on 27Q-10.

      • This model is technically superior to the 27qe but is currently on sale at the same price for 15 days.

When something sounds too good to be true. I doubt if it’s a good deal.

But still tempting to buy them and return 27qe I have just bought 2 weeks ago

Brightness at 300 is entry level, but the price makes it a decent deal. Delivery may or may not ruin it.

  • I'm getting an error applying the code
    Am I doing something wrong?

  • Why don't these modern gaming monitors ever have usbc connectivity?

    • Modern GPUs don't have Type C ports.

    • They do? You just need to find and buy models that have USB C.

One example being the Asus XG27ACS

  • This or the similar Dell one?

Alienware AW2725DM 27” QHD 180 Hz gaming monitor

Was $265.29 with coupon 2 weeks ago ($299.20 before coupon), but currently back up at full price of $449.90

    • +1

Dell one if at sale price. However it is unlikely that price will be back. The Dell monitor is far superior than this one. I'd recommend the Dell monitor however its full price is too expensive

      • why is it far superior? the lenovo is 240hz vs 180hz on the dell, what about the dell makes up for that gap?

        • 95% DCI-P3 instead of 90% DCI-P3 colour gamut, Fast IPS, higher brightness at 400 nits, HDMI 2.1, better stand quality, design looks better.

  • So now you have to pay delivery fee without the code :(
Should I just get the 27Q-11 from Scorptec for 299

  • I bought myself a crappy kogan monitor and got what i paid for. Such a horrible monitor and i need a new one… wish i could afford this one
