The Nintendo Switch™ 2 Edition version of Divinity: Original Sin 2 has a higher resolution and provides a smoother experience with increased framerate.

From the creators of Baldur’s Gate 3, experience the world of Divinity in this epic adventure where your choices shape fate itself.

The Divine is dead. The Void approaches. And the powers lying dormant within you are soon to awaken. Choose your role in a BAFTA-winning story, and explore a world that reacts to who you are, and the choices you make. With five races to choose from, and an adventure playable solo or as a party of up to four, lay waste to an oppressive order in a world afraid of magic. Become the God the world so desperately needs.

Divinity: Original Sin 2: Definitive Edition is the most complete version of the best-selling, Metacritic Must-Play RPG.

  • I'm kicking myself so badly right now, since I had a physical copy of Divinity Original Sin II on the Switch from LRG but I sold it a while ago >.<

  • Great deal, thanks!

  • I've never played any of Larian's games, would you recommend starting with this, or starting with BG3?

Personally preferred DOS2 but BG3 definitely has a lot of QOL changes.

Either game is a great start to the series to see whether you enjoy the genre.

      • I thought I was the only person who prefers DOS2 to BG3

        • There’s at least three of us

    • DOS2 has more fun gameplay, BG3 has a better story

  • Such a stellar game, amazing amount of content for the price

  • Is much missed by playing this on switch instead of PC with access to mods?

    • There's cross save I believe between PC and Switch versions.

      • What about PS5?

  • great game bar the last ACT in which it feels like it got to BETA stages and they just cbf finishing it

    Also $21 on PS Store.

Just a heads up that it doesn't look like the Switch 2 edition has added split screen couch co op which is a touch disappointing (taken from the Switch 2 edition eShop page):

    Number of Players
    1
    Number of Players (Local Wireless)
    2 - 4
    Number of Players (Online)
    2 - 4

    • No mouse mode either from the looks of it (and no KB+M support on the other console versions for that matter)

      • Yep that too, missed opportunity for the upgrade but hopefully they add them in an update or something.

    • It's also still only 30fps in handheld. However 60 I'm docked

    • Good spotting. Would it work with the gameshare feature with Multiple Switch?

      • Not sure, according to the comments on this Reddit post it won't work at least between a switch 2 and switch 1, but apparently it used to work between two switch 1's.

Special game. Started a coop campaign with mates during covid that took us 3 years to finish. Lots of hilarity and a ridiculous conclusion. If you can rope some people in do it!
