This one has the stylus included, which can be a substantial cost, as it is a very specific version.
Tab Pro is significantly bigger - I have it and it does not fit into the Qantas header holder inside the plane :(

The big difference is that this one has a pen, so if you want something for writing notes, marking up documents or basic drawing the A11 can't do that.
What kind of psycho uses a tablet for working on documents at a level more than just reading? That's laptop territory. Love a stylus but also never use them.

I review contracts a lot and I find using a stylus to mark them up or add comments let's me retain more of what I've done than typing the comments in. Sometimes I'll do a laptop for shorter ones or final revisions but most of the time it works better for me.
Tossing up between the Lenovo Idea Tab 11" 8GB / 256GB with Stylus or Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ Wi-Fi 6GB 128GB.. They both have pro's n cons in terms of their performance. Need help OZBer's :)

Samsung offers 7 years of upgrades vs 2 for Lenovo. I picked Samsung because of that
Thanks gents, I think I'm leaning towards the A11+, I do have additional storage already. I do like the Lenovs screen and additional ram, but after watching the reviews on YouTube the Samsung with the faster processor makes the OS/Apps much more snappier and looks like an overall better experience and the 7 year upgrade is selling me.

Go for an ultra light like the surface book. There are plenty of refurbs if you wanna save moneys. Id never get a tablet for serious work. Media consumption only.
for around $30 less minus the tax return, I bought a 12" Lenovo Tab (cannot remember the model name) with MTK 8300 8GB / 256GB, when my gf and I went to China a few weeks back. we visited quite a few places and bought better products for much less.
It was her 1st time there and really enjoyed the whole trip. she was doing the research through tube, tt and redbot?, and planned the whole thing months ahead.
When youre looking at the value proposition for this one the main reason you'd consider it is because it comes with a stylus which it's competitors like the A11 don't have.
It also has a matte screen which is easier on the eyes for reading documents.
So if you want a tablet to take notes on, markup text or do some drawing there isn't anything close to the price point that will let you do that.
What is average battery life on it?
Since the screen needs its brightness cranked up, you might get around 4 hours on screen time just watching you tube.
Serious question - I'm using a 2019 12.9" iPad Pro with an ageing battery which will cost around $200 to replace. I'm going back to China next year and was thinking of a refurb 11" M2 iPad Air with SIM as my main device instead. Would one of these Android tablets be a decent and cheaper alternative? Thanks.

Got the 4GB/128 GB version for half this price.Decent tablet but battery life is ordinary because i need to crank screen brightness to nearly max. I think instead of paying $279 for this, better to go for Idea Tab pro for just $100 more or get the chinese version of ideatab pro for $250.
