Serious question, what do you use this for? I would think I’d use it for about an hour and then forget about it. So I’d love to know how people are getting their moneys worth out of these.
I make videos travelling. One of the best things about this camera is that it can be used very inconspicuously. You can have the camera seemingly pointed down at the ground when the gimbal is in fact pointing up. This camera also performs extremely well in low light and even at night. Again very useful for travelling.
But you are right in a way. Unless you have a specific interest or need for video specifically, your camera phone will probably do. But for anything beyond casual use this would be the camera I'd recommend.
If your life is as boring as mine, you are not doing much travel vlog or one of those social media influencers, then not much use.
Literally every YouTuber is using the OP3 (and mic). I bought mine because I was playing around with the idea of starting a YouTube channel. Never did. I found that recording with my S25 Ultra was far more convenient. The lack of optical zoom on the OP3 is also a major downer for me.

I finally received an update from Kogan. They are not shipping until Feb 2026 "due to circumstances beyond our control".
They're probably waiting for the price to drop further before they bulk buy and ship them
