yeah good stuff. i paid more than this from temu and have been using them in the gym.

  • Recommendations for pull up bar, or power tower?

    Currently just have adjustable dumbells

I use meteor pull up bar from Amazon - but I use it between two brick walls , idk how well it would go in a door frame area

I also have a proper pull up rack with hi Lo pulley, and Pull up/chin up attachment and dip set. Just a generic set from gymdirect

Something like this is cheap (can sometimes get for free on Marketplace) and strong: https://www.kmart.com.au/product/chin-up-bar-42259992/

No assembly required and fits most doors; sits higher than between doorway pull up bars.

It has a neutral grip too, but they are fixed width, compared to these handles.

      • Cool, just wary if these will damage the doors

        • No, they sit on the door frame.

  • What's the benefit of these vs traditional overhand/underhand grip?

    • +2

Reduced Strain: Less stress on wrists and shoulders compared to pronated or supinated grips.

Makes it easier to do reps. Easier on the wrists and slightly on the shoulders.

Downsides though are that it biases towards biceps and away from upper back (which people are generally trying to target here - biceps are easy to target).

I'd strongly suggest people do traditional overhand grip as much as possible, use these for drop sets. It's hard enough to build a strong back and keep your shoulders pulled back without removing the back from the pull-up with these.

Make sure you wearing a helmet when using these

  • Got one, thank you

  • Unavailable for delivery :(

  • thanks OP - didn't know these existed

seems delivery is available in NSW

  • Makes sense if you are injured/weak and can not do normal pull ups. For strong/healthy people towel over bar would give more benefit. You can get it cheaper too (free).

Like 95% of people cant do a single proper pull up.

OMG the age we live in. When I went to school we had to do 15 for an A.

Dude in the thumbnail is really struggling to get those hooks off the bar. "Lift them up buddy. Up!"

  • are these still good if youre heavy

  • Maximum weight capacity: 150kg

Sorry, it exceeds most ozbargainers. great deal though.

  • Comes in pairs right?

  • Bought my fake ones off amazon a couple years ago for about $40 and after realising they weren't legit, pushed for a partial refund.

Still going strong so I'd say these are just the generic version and look identical to mine.

Great for one handed seated pulldowns and to get your elbow to squeeze deep down into your hip..
