Good price on a lens I've been wanting for a while. This was considered the best macro lens for E-mount before they released the 100mm G Master macro. I haven't seen it for a price lower than this brand new.

Currently on sale for $899 on Sony's website. I was able to do a price match on Sony's website, then I bought it aiming to get 15% cashback with ShopBack. Update: Tracked.

You can also apply discount code BOXINGSAVE on Sony's website for $80 off as an alternative to Shopback cashback.

That's second hand. And if all goes well with the cash back on Sony's website, my brand new lens would cost me a net $655.50.

      • I just put in a price match request…I dont need this lens…but at this price…

Just got my price match, they automatically added the boxing day coupon, so worst case scenario $679, and if ShopBack does its thing then theres an extra 10% back as well (upsized cashback, I missed the upsized 15% that was yesterday).

Also Paypal pay in 4, so you dont have to be out the total straight away as Sony has these on backorder.

  • Buy second hand, a lot of people selling on marketplace for some reason. Excellent lens

    • people are moving the G 90mm for the new GM 100mm Macro (and apparently a lot of people are ordering the GM 100mm STF by accident)

      • I saw that too, I don't think there's any benefit, I shoot product with it. It is a great lens.

        • I have been using my Micro Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 VR on a Commlite ENF-E1 Pro adapter, telling myself I dont need the FE 90……now I have ordered it, I can't see why I would need the GM 100mm.

          • @aim54x: You don't even need 90mm tbh, continue using your 105mm. I very much wanted to buy it back in the days, hunted for used but ended up buying 90mm around 850$

            • @sqheaven: I konw…but at this price…its very hard to say no
