Arregghhhhhh I don’t need more 3d printer stuff.

I’ve got the Comgrow-branded version of this dryer. I’ve already had to replace the screen once after the LCD went so dim it was basically unreadable. Support was decent and sent a self-replacement kit, and the swap only took about 10 minutes.
One thing I’ve noticed (and you can see this in reviews too) is that the LCD “bleeds” or distorts whenever you press the buttons. I’m not sure whether that’s slowly damaging the screen or if it’s just a quirk of the design, but in my case the original screen eventually died.
Apart from that it’s actually a good unit, but I am a bit concerned the same thing might happen again over time.

I got this.
The fan in it was so loud, you couldn't use it inside.
Several mods online how to gut it and change the fan of your interested.
Returned it.Got the single spool sunlu one, much quieter. Dunno if better.

I have the SH02, and while it's a little noisy, so is my 3d printer. Both live in the shed so it doesn't matter. maybe I'll mod it tho
People seem to like the Space Pi, but I opted for the SH02 despite knowing the above because the Pi doesn't have any seals, so can't be used as storage (also the 2 spool Pi is more expensive than the SH02)
Furthermore both the Pi and the SH02 don't have adequate venting during the drying process, leading to excess moisture build up. The solution is to simply crack the lid, the latch can be closed to wedge it open enough and it works great for the SH02

It's been this price for a few days now. Possibility of it being cheaper on boxing day?
