Been backpacking the past year and using this as a day pack. Very strong, obviously no padding as it folds up very small but as long as you don't load it up heavily it's a great bag to carry.
I just picked up 2 in Box Hill VIC. I think there may have only been 1 left. Call the store beforehand I’d suggest. These are just what I was after. Awesome value at $9 each. Most other varieties are $35+. They seem sturdy enough for our upcoming overseas trip. Thanks OP.
I also bought one of these a while back for a day pack when traveling. Gave another to my folks as they're overseas every second month along with a Caribee Fold Away.
The Denali definitely seems pretty sturdy when compared to other options including the Caribee

Good to know. I was looking at the Caribee while I was in store but couldn’t go past these at $9 each.
The two are actually quite comparable in size despite the Caribee being marketed as 20L.
I like the layout of the Denali more too… the pocket that the bag folds back into is situated inside the main compartment so is hidden away if you wanted to stick keys/spare debit cards in there. The mesh pockets are a nice addition too for drink bottle. And the material is tougher.
@Mugsy: Yep agreed. I’m not a huge fan of the green but again it’s the price point and quality that wins it for for me. I’m not going to find a comparable bag for $9 anywhere else.
@Grasshopper75: Yeah, the khaki green isn't the nicest color… but at least it stands out a bit more than the black in a crowd. Still, I was looking for stock of the black but they only have one at a store about 20-25min drive away. A bit far and I'd only be getting one black and another green.
Either way, I just checked with my folks and they'd like a larger capacity foldable bag if I was to get one for them. Also, the Caribee has also held up and doesn't need replacing.
Guess I'm not jumping on this deal this time.
