Make sure they don't know you're spending gift cards when asking for a price match. Sometimes they won't price match fully (a partial discount only) and waving your cards around will reduce your negotiation power

They tend to hold off issuing it until you have physcially received the goods.

I would like to ask if I place an order for an iPhone 17 today, when will I receive the gift card? Will it be issued immediately after payment or only when the phone is delivered? Since the gift card is valid for 30 days, I am unsure how the delivery time affects its validity.
In addition, I see that the iPhone 17 at my location is marked as “available soon.” Does this mean it may be in stock at the store tomorrow, or do I need to place an online order and wait for a notification that it has arrived? If I purchase it in store, will I also receive a gift card that I can use immediately for a second purchase?
You should get it upon purchase.
As for the latter question, it just means that it’s not available in that store. It could be tomorrow, it could be a week from now. That’s as specific as it gets.

They put together a cart for me that had the price match applied. Over chat they said "As discussed, we will be matching Harvey Norman gift card offer. A JB gift cardworth 10% of the item purchase price (when you spend more than $500) will be sentthrough via email within 2 weeks of purchase."

Talked with JB online just now wanting to buy a camera, they agreed to price match with HN and offered the 10% gift card as well. They said the gift card will be sent via email in 2 weeks, and aside from that statement in chat there's no other indication of the gift card during checkout or anywhere, so I'm still a bit skeptical.
Managed to price match some Caroma bathroom stuff with E&S.

I emailed them to follow up (reply to your order confirmation email, it's the same address), support said for some reason the e-gift card was not automatically generated so they generated it manually. It was in my inbox within a couple of hrs.
i had already reached out to support so i just pinged them again. my order is still showing as processing though, so that will probably be an issue.
