Pretty sure it was only $430 during black friday with the ebay discount codes. I bought mine for about $470 at the start of November.
The AD5X is the 1st 3D printer I've owned and I rate it, only problem is printing takes so long that I considered buying a 2nd one. It's kinda of like the early days of when CD burners came out and it used to take 1-2 hours to print a 700mb cd, give it another few more years and 3D Printing speeds will probably only take a fraction of the time it takes now.
printing speeds have already improved dramatically over the last few generations. The true way to increase speed is to have multiple printers when it's multiple parts/items.
