    T&C above say: Cashback is only paid upon completion of any free trial period, when the subscription begins.
    So would assume yes.

    Did you get any tracking notification from the registration? I assume not since no payment was made? I suppose we're expecting that Shopback will track the 200% when the first month payment hits?

      Mmm, not sure as haven't singed up, yet. I'd have expected/hoped tracking to register the deal after-which only gets approved once first payment is made?

  Is there a way to know whether you’ve had a subscription before? And does doing a free trial in the past count as being a subscriber?

    I'd imagine upon sign up, it would tell you that there is an existing account with same credentials. As for free trial in the past, well that confirms that you had an account and were a subscriber (free)!

  I cancelled free trial which ended immediately and re subscribed, tracked yesterday for $23.62.
  Promotion is still on until 31/12. You can sign up for family plan for a bit more cashback or try your luck on annual sub, I'm happy with mine and don't want to take more risk.

    I tried doing the same. Signed up, cancelled the free trial, then subscribed again to the family plan. Got charged but two days later now and still hasn't tracked. May have to try and hit Apple up for a refund, as I have no intention of using it.
