  • This deal pretty good. Can I still get the instant bonus battery if buying online then click and collect?

    • I’m pretty sure you can, when they scan the product, it immediately notifies them of the instant in-store bonus

    • It specifically says you can't do that in the T&Cs

        sorry 😞

    This deal is better.
Start with the better drill and better impact driver, with a FREE reciprocating saw:
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/dewalt-18v-xr-2-piece-5-0ah-comp…

    That's $429

Now get one of these torches:
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/dewalt-18v-xr-li-ion-led-cordles…

    So we're sitting at $468

Now walk over to the drill bits/ driver bits section and stock up on $32 worth of drilling & driving accessories from the brands listed here:
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/campaign/redemption-gift-card

This will get you $100 voucher - which is as good as cash.

So for $400 out of your pocket you get a top quality drill, a top quality impact, a great reciprocating saw, a torch and a big handful of accessories.

If you don't need the torch, then do the same kind of thing but with this instead

    • you miscalculated by $10.

I'm on holidays, you're lucky I managed to string together that many words lucidly, let alone with a reasonable level of accuracy.

    • With the instant bonus, it's only the saw or i can push the battery too?
      No extra tool redemption?

      • Bought the $429 kit today, wanted the higher spec impact driver, and recip saw, without being aware of the cashback and no-one in store even mentioned it, so have claimed my $50 back - I wouldn't have known without this thread.

The recip saw skin is priced at $269 on the shelf - its a great deal. There is no other redemption with this offer, and its the only kit that offers the recip saw skin.
Kit comes with 2 batteries and charger so all round its an awesome offer for 3 pretty good tools.

        • Get yourself a branch cutting blade for the recip saw - it's the best thing in the garden.

          • @jcon: Could you recommend one?
I bought the Kango 5-blade set, tried to use it to cut 2-3cm branches, and found that it's not easy.

  • Thanks! Bought it.
Waiting on the gift card and the free fan now :)

    • +1

The fan is cracker, i own 2 now cos its qld nd hot

  • Thank you, i bought the kit, have submitted my gift card and fan redemptions.
I was given a 9ah flex volt DCB547-XE battery as the in-store bonus ($259 value)… I did question it several times with 2 of the tool shop staff thinking I was being given too much and that it was suppose to be the regular 5ah battery, but they claim to have checked their promo sheet several times and processed it as the bonus battery for me. Still think I got lucky and there might have been a mistake, but just in case that really is the bonus battery, make sure the staff check their promo print outs.

    • Nice one. You should be able to sell that on Marketplace for about $150 or trade it for two new 5AH batteries.
The problem with that is it's far too heavy for using in those tools - if you don't need it for a grinder or a circular saw or a whipper snipper, sell it while it's brand new.

      • Yes. 1.5kg, too heavy on those drills. Too heavy on my 165mm circular saw too. I've been using it on the blower and sucker (aka vacuum) only.

    • Has anyone else had this luck?

  • It's too late for me to realise that it's a very good deal. Does anyone know when the instant bonus and the redemption will end?
    Thanks

    • why too late? is it over?

      • yes, the $50 voucher is over

        • +1

You can still buy online and fill the form for the voucher before 11.59pm tonight but you won't get instore bonus in this case.

  • Damn a little too late, Was going to spend 1.5k

    • why too late? is it over?

      • The bonus giftcard $300

  • Muppets for not properly advertising this. I went in to 2 Bunnings and didn't notice this.

    • Its not really in their interest…they only ever run these promos when either sydney tools or total tools run their versions and they only started in the past year…before that they would just reduce the price of tools while the others were running their promos. If ppl dont claim their gift cards better for them

  • Anyone got there vouchers yet?

    • I received the gift voucher a week ago and received the redemption item this morning (DCB184 18V 5.0Ah Battery).

  • fyi guys who missed last time. This deal is valid and ending today!! https://www.bunnings.com.au/campaign/redemption-gift-card
