look you may have just been unlucky, but fwiw i have shopped at CPL for 20 yrs even in their old location and now in spencer st. Never had a problem.
Only peeve i have is that they charge 15% restocking fee for change of mind returns. Faulty goods no problem.
Recently bought ubiquiti stuff , they were by far the cheapest, radio parts across the road were 20% dearer

No problems regarding the change of mind restock fee at 15%. Someone has to process your return, check the contents, put it back on the shelf, and that's a cost that someone needs to be responsible for.

Avoid CPL, worst PC parts company going around. They put a policy on their wall and say it's the law despite it going against ACCC and the manager will argue with you over the counter.
ACCC has had so many complaints for CPL that when you call them, they say it's not worth it and to cut your losses.
