Hot take: Never blind buy a perfume, no matter how much hype it gets. I pulled the trigger on BDC Parfum and Armani Code Parfum based on the rave reviews, and honestly? They’re fine, but I wasn't blown away. On the flip side, I picked up YSL Y Intense EDP from Myer after actually smelling it, and it’s a total win. Fragrance is strictly subjective—try before you buy, always.

I agree, majority of the hyped up fragrances aren't that great. However, some are actually nice. I picked up Rasasi Hawas Ice blue for $40 before it got hyped up love it!

This has a newer version called absolu dont know the difference to much but owned this since aug 2023 dont spray more then 3 sprays its very potent! Misso absolutely loves it so thats a win

For anyone considering this, try Kingdom by Lataffa. I prefer Kingdom over JPG Elixir because I found Elixir to be a bit too sweet because of that honey note.
