Hard to get excited about a 35 year old Australian wine, discussion would be about how well it held up , leather characters, brick colour blah, blah, blah, etc up instead of the fruit, etc. I have Wynns back labels going back to that era and earlier, and when I open them it's more academic and I feel they would have been nicer if drunk earlier. Wine trends have moved on to a new generation of wine makers and makes, even lots of Barolo is made more approachable when young instead of the leather that develops over 20 year. Guess it depends what people like to drink. Wine are like people, get better with age to a point then go down hill, used the term people to keep it gender neutral.

        • Thanks for checking!

          • @Sileeme: R.S.R is now available but honestly won't last long as it's the last of the vintage.

would be very interested to how this was stored seeing it was released around 1995/96

We bought it direct from the winery and I think that they would have stored it in a great conditions.
