You would just peel off the sticker of course.

Solar still needs a reference voltage. Many small solar panels like this have cheap rechargeable AAAs in them with really small capacity (like 400-500mAh). Those die after a year or two of use, so you're better off just providing your own.

Probably for night use, when there's no sun.

Would it be wrong to install these in random public places?

    • The chaos you could cause with some double sided tape. Facebook community groups would be running hot.

Determined intruders don't care about cams. An alarm or a dog(s) are probably the best forms for deterring intruders. Or even a camera with an alarm function.

  • I read this as Solar Dunny Cameras and was ready to buy

Or buy some real IP cameras cheap from Temu for $4 each. Sure they broadcast to China but they can record to micro SD cards.

Sorry looks like it has gone up to $5.24 but if you stack with coupons or cashback it'll be less.

  • I thought these were real cameras and clicked off this deal before realising they were fake, they sure fooled me.

    Purchased one for my Bentley.

  • Great deal! Watch Linus on Youtube to use this as a case for a Raspberry Pi camera setup.

    • Why pay $3 on a case, if you can buy the full thing for $4?
