Does anyone have one that could comment on it?

Yes, I bought one of these for my dad. It’s alright I wouldn’t buy it again for full price. Great for in a dark bedroom at night on the wall or roof. In a living room it’s a bit hard to see. The OS is quite good for Kmart brand. Speakers were very awful. Good for kids or the novelty of a projector but don’t replace your tv with it by any means.

      • Personally, I completely disregard speakers in projectors, TVs or phones, as I always hook them up BT speakers/earphones.

but don’t replace your tv with it by any means.

Ours does. It's either phones/tablets for individual watching or projector for collective viewing. No big black monolith in the living room.

    • I don't; I have this one. Just curious to see what others here thought of it.

Mine is… ok. It was one of the better rated among budget ones. My biggest grievance with it is that it's impossible to keep the whole image in focus, but I guess that's probably true of all budget projectors, and it's sort of imperceptible with real movies (as opposed to animation).

Big W have a similarly specced one for a similar price.

IDK the quality of any of these, but this doesn't seem like a immediate jump to buy kinda price.

  • Full HD 1080p, 4K INPUT resolution.
Update: Manual says 1080p resolution 🤞

Yeah, that's standard at this price level. They'll take in 4K and downgrade to 1080p. They're basically a phone screen with a strong light globe behind it.

    Put 2x side-by-side, look like Wall-E's eyes

    1. To prolong the lifespan of the projector, we highly recommended unplugging the power cable completely after each use, especially during a long period of no use.

    Wtf

    • We do. We keep it in a cabinet, out of sight, out of mind.

If you're sensitive to fan noise, don't bother.

    • Pump up the volume! ;D

Meh, plenty of alternatives under $100

Ebay got it for cheaper around $60… 4k not sure if its better or worse though

    • They might take in 4K, but they definitely don't project 4K.

There's a ton of cheap projectors on Amazon

    I'd consider a cheaper alternative from Aliexpress/Temu. This one's $59 - similar hardware, different software https://www.temu.com/au/smart-portable-projector-with-native…

  • These types of projectors always end up with dust in them and it shows on the screen

Hate to necro this deal, but it's seemingly an Anko rebrand of this projector from Miroir.

More than a few of the reviews talk about burn marks after a few months use, however older reviews didn't mention this - I reckon quality changed during production somewhere. Might be good for a cheapie punt but I reckon YMMV greatly.
