    Blend 888 $32

    That's lucky…

Thanks OP. Tried Downtown in Inglewood's Black Friday sale and enjoyed it (aeropress, with milk, I usually don't like "floral" or "fruity" flavours and seem to prefer chocolaty and darker roasts). Will use this to try Sunset BLVD (seems similarly discounted)

Can anyone confirm the roasting date on these? Or are they simply clearing off the shelf on the old coffee beans?

    • +4

maybe that's why they called vintage coffee merchants

    • Are there any reps from vintage on Ozb?

I order monthly over the past 3-4 years and average 7-12 days past roast date when delivered, so usually perfect!

    • I purchased a couple of bags, once arrives will let you know.

      • Any update?

        • Its expiry is well into mid 2026, and it was roasted fresh about end of december

        • Mine was roasted 29 Dec 2025 and arrived 16 Jan 2026

Free over $100 but it's not advertised anywhere and is hidden in the checkout unless you expand the postage options

Maybe I’m spoiled by Drip coffee’s quick postage, how do these guys perform? I ordered Wednesday last week and apart from an initial transaction email, I’ve heard zip.

    • They seem to ship sporatically. Not ideal if you're running low

    • Any updates? I ordered on the 19th, also haven’t heard.

See my other comment below, they posted after I emailed them.

I got my 4 bags that I ordered, but took about 2 weeks to reach me

@TonesBargain I have the same issue. Ordered on 15th Thursday and I got no update since. Im going to run out of beans in 2 days.

This seems a bit suspicious. Their home page says operating for over 50 years. I've had a look at their business details on ABR and it's only active since Oct 2025.

They've probably bought in bulk and reselling for profit.

    • Good investigation… I should’ve done the same. It’s been 5 days since I ordered and heard nothing. Emailed for an update.

      • After I emailed them, I got a response pretty quick (blamed AusPost) and express postage. Haven’t checked the dates yet or tried the beans.

I’ll go back to Drip or Lime next time.

Yep I share the same sentiment. Got an update that it’s “out for delivery” conveniently after emailing. Will go back to Lime/Sicilia coffees for me. What I get for trying out new stores 🤙

  • I asked asked for a refund, took too long, still waiting for a refund…
