Or the L40 Ultra CE for $649 is a pretty good deal

    https://amzn.asia/d/fIT9YzQ

    • Hi, I didn’t see $649. Where can I buy it for that price?

      • click on it to get the 50% off and it's actually $749 for the 40

Somewhat high price given the X40 is getting relatively old now in spec and features.

The Dreame L40s Pro Ultra which is better in many ways was selling for cheaper 6 weeks ago. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/935287
I got the L40s Pro Ultra and I am super happy with it.
I also have the L50 Ultra for my main downstairs area while the L40S is cleaning my upstairs bedroom area.

I would try and find a Dreame model that includes the newer dual roller anti-tangle brush as a minimum now if I was shopping for a new one.

    • Multi-floor in the app is woefully inadequate. Can see why you have two. Dreame at this point is probably under-investing in the software to encourage further sales.

      • The only reason I have two is that I am lazy honestly. I could have 1 and shift it up and downstairs every day, but it's too much hassle. The floor plan of both levels is large enough that both robots need to return to the dock at least once to complete a full vacuuming and mopping job. Our internal foor area is over 300 square.

  • I'm looking at the dreame D20 plus which shows as 50% off at checkout ($400). Does anyone have any experience with these? Vacuum will be used mainly for carpet.

L50 ultra just recently was as low as 1120 or 1150, so this really isn't a deal at all unfortunately. Pretty old tech now

    • The new models are pretty incremental gains really, once the basic automation needs are met auto mopping, emptying, navigation etc which even from the L30 do pretty well you're paying a lot more for not much more imo.

Well considering you're paying the same price for an l50 for an x50 and still getting improvements, that seems a no brainer…

        • I'm referring to the L40 Ultra CE deal I posted for $649 above (or even L30 Ultra S you can sometimes get even cheaper) they are still worth it. But yes otherwise I agree with you might as well go the newer one if you're spending 1k+

          • @4foxache: Ohh definitely! That is a cheap buy for half the price of the flagships. But happy I bought an l50 for under $1200, was waiting out for black friday end of year sales as I knew their RRP was just a joke and would never pay that

          • @4foxache: I want to buy the L40 CE for $649. Can share the link please?
