NetComm is still around…
Won't work with NBN FTTN or FTTB (requires a modem)
No you cannot mesh two CF40MESH together, you need the satellite unit CFS40.

CamelCamelCamel. No it doesn't. Purchase more eero's for a mesh network.
Lots of Telcos still use NetComm as their modern-router supplied with NBN plans.
Origin included a Netcomm modem-router (NetComm NF18 CloudMesh) with our plan and it is a POS. After some time, sometimes overnight, Internet slows to a crawl, and needs rebooting to restore internet access. Tried factory reset and firmware update, no luck.
Replaced with a TP Link (Archer AX23) off Marketplace for $50, slapped OpenWRT on it and it hasn't had any downtime since.
My business supplies Archers 🤓
A shame its not USB C power, would be a great little on the go router.
would this be a good upgrade from an old tp link archer 1600v?
thats what im using haha. Never saw a need to upgrade tho tbh.
It would be an upgrade in terms of handling more devices smoothly due to wifi 6. Not sure about the range though as it lacks external antennas. I wouldn’t use it as main router unless living in apartments.
thanks i did a google search and the tp link has better range, will hold out for something better
Is it any good for wifi extensions?
This is also a good deal from Harris, a Netcomm NF18ACV AC1600 Wi-Fi xDSL Modem Router with Voice for $41
Yes there are better Modems but not for $41 and not with Voice as well.
I got one earlier to replace a very old Netcomm that died, big improvement.
Ready and waiting to be part of a bot net army.
Will this mesh with eero router?
